Coca, our guide was excellent. Keen eye to spot the creatures and very knowledgeable with a pleasant friendly manner. It was also a full 2 hour trip up the river with pick up and drop off added!!

Coca was an excellent guide he was able to identify lots of species of wildlife on the river cruise and made it very enjoyable.

Excellent trip. We got picked up promptly at 10.50 and taken to bentoto river where we met are guide for the trip. Our guide was excellent very friendly and knowledgeable and spotted so many different animals and reptiles including crocodiles, monitor lizards and snakes. We were also lucky enough to get to feed a black monkey. We got a delicious coconut to drink in the mangroves which our guide brought with him. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone and thought it was just the right amount of time on the river to be enjoyable.

I’ve actually done three of these Bentota safaris in the past few days and this one was by far the best. Excellent communication as I needed to change my pickup and tour date. Very helpful and accommodating. I was picked up on time by a really professional and safe driver - not always common in Sri Lanka. As for the safari itself, I saw more wildlife than I could have hoped for. Monkeys, crocodiles, snakes, frogs, lizards, bats, birds…you name it, we saw it and that was all down to the guide. He was so good at spotting the animals. He clearly knows the river very well which is some going, given its size. He was very knowledgeable and the trip was very educational as well as relaxing. Stand out tour and worth every penny.
