My partner and I chose this three-day trip as we wanted to explore a lot of what the Amazon had to offer. Milton was in regular contact with us via WhatsApp in the days leading up to our trip and collected us from the centre of Manaus to take us to the port, as well as dropping us back off when we returned. The lodge is clean and comfortable and each cabin is air conditioned with its own private bathroom. Three meals were provided on each full day we were there. Our guides - Denis and Cleu - were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the local wildlife and people who live along the Rio Negro. We were asked whether there were things we did or didn’t want to do but were prepared to be guided by their expertise. We would both recommend this trip to anyone visiting the State of Amazonas as it’s simply the best way to experience what makes this part of Brazil so fascinating.
