A Climaxsafaris representative will pick you up at Entebbe International Airport, Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe early morning at 7am and set off Depart from Kampala at 8:00 am and head towards Western Uganda. A brief stop at the Equator allows time for photography. During the drive, you will see long-horned Ankole cattle, the rolling hills and terraced landscapes of the region, and beautiful panoramas that are part of the western Uganda. We have a lunch break en-route at in the city of Mbarara. We arrive at the park in the late evening. Overnight at Gorilla close up Lodge/ Buhoma Community Bandas.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
You will head to the Bwindi National Park gate immediately after breakfast to get a briefing about the gorilla trek. The briefing will be conducted by the national park guide and will cover the basics on what to expect during the trek. It is at this point that you will be told which gorilla family to trek. It is likely that you will be joined by other visitors. Walking sticks will be available from the park rangers. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla close up Lodge/Buhoma
