  I loved this tour soooo much beyond words. Everything from the transport, communication, guides, care, activities and food was amazing. NASIR, RAHMAT & SUGI 🌺 made us laugh so much our cheeks ached. They were also so caring of us making sure we had everything we needed and were safe through the trip. I slipped on a rock and broke my toenail on the first day and rahmat cleaned and changed my bandage twice a day which was so kind! We also didn’t go even the slightest bit hungry the whole trip, sugi always made sure we had delicious food and snacks❤️ Nasir was very knowledgeable and told us lots of interesting things about the jungle and orangutans. We got lucky as saw around 10 different orangutans including a tiny baby and a big male.. it was truly magical!   The 3D 2N jungle trekking was amazing! The admin organized everything so well, my pickup & hotel was arranged and the contact is very good because he reacts in 1 minute. Also my guides Waka & Eza were the best! So kind and helpful in the jungle and I really liked all the riddles and games after diner. Jerry are chef was also amazing, we had a lot of fresh fruits with breakfast, lunch and diner and the meals he made were delicious!!

  Great experience with Sumatra Orangutan Trekking! Our trek was truly amazing and we saw all kinds of animals thanks to the good spotting of our guides! Everyone in the company was really friendly and everything was arranged perfectly. They helped us very well with all our questions. We didn’t expect it, but one of the highlights of our trip was the food! Our cook Indra cooked the most delicious food in the jungle! And of course the fruit platters! 😋 Super happy we got to experience this and see some lovely orangutans!

  What an amazing experience! I couldn't have asked for more from the team. For every question I had the team had the answer. Whether it was before, during or after my tour. They helped me organise pre/post night accommodation and arrival/departure transfers. Always communicating clearly and ensuring I was comfortable with and understood the process. On the ground Sandy and Memet were excellent tour guides ensuring we were laughing, singing or dancing our way through the jungle. All whilst being sure to find us the best spots to see the Orangutans amongst the other tour groups. On top of that we had Suggi as our cook and goodness does this man know how to cook up a feast. Every dish hit the spot 10/10. Smiles and full bellies all round. Thank you guys for such an amazing experience. They might be the best ran touring company I have encountered in my 7+ months of travelling Asia.

  I did the 3-day trekking tour and everything was perfect from start to finish! It already began with the organization beforehand, which was absolutely professional. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and all of my questions were answered immediately. The trek itself was a truly unique experience. Our guides, Carlos and Ibnu, were amazing — super helpful, funny, and always in a great mood. The food during the three days was always freshly prepared and sooo delicious! We saw so many monkeys and a huge number of orangutans. What I especially appreciated was that I always had the feeling that animal welfare came first. The accommodations were basic, but absolutely sufficient and comfortable enough for the experience. They really took care of everything at all times. I can 100% recommend this tour. Even after the trek, I continued to receive support with planning and transportation. When I had to change my onward travel plans at the very last minute, it was no problem at all — and I didn’t even have to pay extra. Absolutely perfect experience!

  We booked the 3 day jungle trekking online - from the initial booking Dedek was incredible at organising everything and answering any questions we had, even asking one of the team members to send us a video of the wooden carvings for sale in Bukit Lawang so we could bring the appropriate amount of cash. The trek itself was by far the best thing we did in our month in Indonesia. Across the 3 days we saw 13 orang-utans including the alpha male and a very cute baby. The trek itself was challenging but very rewarding. Ibnu and Memet were amazing guides, very kind and knowledgeable and ensured we saw the orang-utans, but also that we kept a comfortable distance from the animals. Sugik is a great chef and the meals were some of the best we ate in Indonesia. The rafting back was a lot of fun as well. I really can’t recommend the trip enough.

  We had the most amazing experience in the jungle for 3 days and 2 nights. We saw 12 Orang-Utans, mostly mothers with their babies. Our guides Karan and Eza were very welcoming, provided us with tons of interesting information about the animals, the flora and were lots of fun to be with. We played card games in the evenings, sang some songs and enjoyed the delicious food cooked by our jungle Mama Sukit. Apart from Orang-Utans, we saw 4 other monkey specious, birds, squirrels, insects… We would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in wildlife and would love to come again one day!

  I have just done my 3D2N trip and it was epic! Our guides Bim and Rahmat where just so amazing. They will always smile and they will always help you, made sure you feel safe and taken care of! The guides have so much fun with their fellow guides from Bukit Lawang. The hike can be technically challenging and normal running shoes dont suffice. So wear shoes with a good grip. And bring watershoes. They take enough water breaks and simple pauses so you can definitely make it through the day. The food is amazing and its so nice to sea them prepare the fruit in front of your nose, and its so fresh. The evenings were so nice to play little Jungle Games or talk! I am so happy to have met Bim and Rahmat. Thank you, you are the absolute best!!

  We just finished our 3D2N Jungle Trek in Bukit Lawang and I can say we had an amazing experience. Everything was very well organised and thought-trough, and everyone we were in contact in really put an effort in our tour and in fulfilling our wishes. We were especially happy with our guides Ipol and Rizky - they always had an eye on us and made our time in the jungle unforgettable. If you want to make sure that your tour is ethical, you should book with this organisation. Also, the Food was amazing - thanks to Indra we all felt like Christmas geese being fed five times a day with the Most delicious food. :)) We hope that you continue working with joy and protecting nature and wildlife. Thanks a lot again and take good care!

  What an amazing three days! We had the most incredible time in the Sumatran jungle with our guides Brema and Ragil. Their knowledge, expertise and good humour helped us to observe several orangutans across the three day trek, with their welfare always at the forefront of the expedition. The jungle itself was also amazing, with so much life running through it. Our chef Epin also produced lots of amazing food across the few days and the camp in the jungle was very comfortable. Finally, Dedek as our first point of contact was an invaluable help, with first rate communication always in a very timely manner. He also went out of his way to help us even after we left Bukit Lawang, as we left something behind that he was very happy to send on to another location in Asia, which we were very grateful for. The lengths he went to in order to help us even after we left really embodied the whole ethos of the company and we couldn't recommend them highly enough.
