Buffet Lunch at Te Puia with various vegetarian options. All foods are labelled for any other dietary requirements.
Hobbiton Movie Set
On arrival at Hobbiton you will be guided through the picturesque 1,250 acre sheep farm with spectacular views across to the Kaimai Ranges. You will be escorted through the site while listening to fascinating details of how the Hobbiton Movie set was created. The Hobbit holes, Green Dragon Inn, the Mill and other structures were created for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films. They can be viewed, and you will see how this beautiful piece of Waikato farmland was transformed into The Shire from Middle-Earth, with the finale being a complimentary drink at the Green Dragon Inn. You will also get to explore one of the Hobbit Holes interiors before the end of your tour.
Te Puia
Te Puia guided tour to see the Pohutu geyser, Art and Craft Institute, mudpools, Kiwi Conservation Centre and other interesting sights. After the tour, a buffet lunch is included at Te Puia. The buffet lunch will be labelled for any dietary requirements.

Waiotapu you will get to see the Lady Knox Geyser. Waiotapu is considered one of New Zealands diverse and colourful geothermal park. Marvel at the number of boiling hot springs and the vibrant colors all around you This is a self-guided walk through the park.
Taupo
Taupo Sightseeing including the Huka Fallas. In Taupo, be guided by your driver and visit the lake front and other interesting sights. Your driver will find out what interests you and, if possible, tailor the day to maximize the stops to suit your interests. Return to Rotorua after Taupo for drop-off at your accommodation between 3:30 PM-4:30 PM.

Polynesian Spa in Rotorua. Your tour includes the Lake Spa admission. You can use this on Day 2 evening or Day 3 morning. You will be given a voucher at the end of your tour on Day 1.
Waitomo Caves
Please note, lunch is NOT included on this day. Make sure to have some food if you like before we pick you up. From Rotorua, travel to the Waitomo Caves, famous for its thousands of glow-worms. Walk into the caves, then travel a short distance on the underground river in a small boat, passing beneath a veil of glittering glow-worms and learning more about the caves' historical and geological significance. After this, you will be taken back to Auckland where your tour ends.

5.00The entire tour was organized exceptionally well. Having our drivers double as our guides made the experience much more personal; they were incredibly knowledgeable, sharing deep insights into the local culture and history alongside the fascinating geological facts of the region. It is a wonderfully managed trip from start to finish, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to see the best of the North Island without the stress of planning.

5.00A fabulous trip with an outstanding team of drivers. Not only were they our drivers, they educated us on the places we visited, NZ history and the wonderful Maori culture. They were interesting, funny and kind. Can't recommend them highly enough. We loved Hobbiton (some of us have not seen the movies but still loved the experience), great lunch there too. Rotorua amazing and want to go back. Polynesian pools a must as are the cultural performance and geothermal in Te Puia. The tour guides in each location love their jobs and make it a great experience.
