Depart for a scenic drive down into the Rift Valley, to Masai Mara, Kenya’s world renowned game reserve. Stop en route at the Great Rift Valley for the stunning views. Arrive before lunch. The afternoon game drives allows spotting of the unrivaled wildlife in the park. Dinner and overnight at Goshen Mara Camp or equivalent.

As your safari is private your game drive timings are flexible, useful if you are traveling with children, or are on a honeymoon. You may also choose you have a full day game drive [ one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch for an small extra cost ranging from USD 15- 20 per person. A Maasai village in the Masai Mara offers one of the most authentic cultural experiences in Kenya. Nestled near the vast savannahs of the Maasai Mara, these traditional villages—known as manyattas—are home to the semi-nomadic Maasai people, one of East Africa’s most iconic communities. The village is typically arranged in a circular layout, with small houses built from mud, sticks, grass, and cow dung. The design reflects both practicality and deep cultural tradition, creating a protective enclosure for families and livestock. Cattle are central to Maasai life, symbolizing wealth, status, and sustenance. Visitors are warmly welcomed with traditional songs and the famous Maasai jumping dance (adumu), where warriors demonstrate strength and agility. Elders often share stories about Maasai history, customs, and their harmonious relationship with wildlife in the surrounding plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve.

5.00I joined this trip with two friends, and we had an incredible time from start to finish. The long drive from Nairobi became part of the adventure because the group was friendly and full of energy. By the time we reached Maasai Mara, everyone already felt connected. The safari itself was absolutely fantastic. We managed to spot four of the Big Five within the first two days, which made the excitement inside the vehicle unforgettable. Watching elephants move peacefully across the plains while giraffes walked nearby felt like being inside a wildlife documentary. Then the guide clearly knew the park very well and always tried to position the vehicle perfectly for photos. The accommodations were comfortable enough, and the meals kept everyone satisfied after long game drives. I would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for adventure and unforgettable wildlife experiences.

I was a little nervous about joining a group safari because I usually prefer private trips, but the group atmosphere turned out to be fun and welcoming. Everyone shared excitement during the game drives, especially when we spotted lions resting under a tree only a short distance away. The Maasai Mara itself is breathtaking with endless plains and wildlife everywhere you look. During the safari, we managed to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, zebras, and even a leopard from afar. The guide was experienced and had excellent spotting skills, which made a huge difference. This trip is perfect for anyone looking for an affordable but unforgettable safari experience.
