The E-learning Open Water Diver course is a 3 days course.
To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.
No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

Diving within 18 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

What To Expect
The PADI open water course is the first course to become a full open water scuba diver. The first day will be confined water training in the pool and the 2nd and 3rd days will be doing boat trips for open water diving. All of our courses include e-learning which can be completed at anytime

5.00I completed the PADI Open Water course and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Special shout out to Filip honestly the best instructor you can find. Super helpful and explained everything very well. ! If you want to learnt to dive Filip is your guy. I felt safe the whole time and got to see some incredible sea life. If you’re in Koh Samui and are interested in diving I couldn’t recommend it more.

Attentive, patient, charming and above all else professional and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend the experience enough. Well organized, well thought out and besides the certification the diving locations they took us to themselves were breathtaking. 5/5

5.00This was the best way to get my scuba certification! Very well organized and well run, the staff was super personable and knowledgeable. Felt like I was in great hands! Our instructor was Pierre, and he was amazing! If you can, request him! He lead us on amazing dives, was super knowledgeable of all the fish, and was very comforting when we struggled with some of the skills. 10/10 experience, and would 100% recommend to all!

5.00My 13 y/o daughter and I just did our PADI Open Water Certification with Sam at Discovery Dive, Koh Samui. We had an amazing experience, Sam was a great Dive Instructor, she was very professional. Sam was patient with us, but firm, she did not cut any corners, and taught us best practice when diving. Sam has a very calm and disarming personality, perfect for teaching newbies like us. We felt very safe when diving with Discovery. Although at times learning to dive can be a little overwhelming. The boat dives were well run and all the communication with Discovery Dive was very professional and efficient. Thankyou Richie! Thankyou Sam! I did all the research on PADI diving in Koh Samui before we arrived. I would highly recommend Discovery Dive for anyone looking to dive in Koh Samui. They are the best!!! We were able to complete our Theory online prior to arriving, so once in Koh Samui, we completed our Certification in 3 days of diving! Looking forward to many dive adventures in the future. Thanks Again!!!!

5.00My two daughters and I just completed the PADI open water course in Koh Samui. We booked with discovery divers via email while still in Australia. We then were emailed the link to do the theory component of the course while still at home so we didn’t waste any holiday time. On day 1 we had Zoe lead us in the pool skills. She was patient but also kept us moving at a good pace. On days 2 and 3 we were led by Filip. He was excellent, and filled us with confidence but also made sure we were across all of the safety processes. We were very grateful for his calm manner. Day 2 we visited Koh Tao and day 3 we visited Sail Rock which was stunning. I would highly recommend discovery divers, and particularly Filip and Zoe, especially if you are a beginner.
