What To Expect
Istanbul, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Underground Cistern, Ancient Hippodrome

The journey starts with the meeting your tour guide in the lobby of your hotel. Today you will be amazed to witness a millennia and a half standing Hagia Sophia Museum, that was once the center of the Orthodox Christendom until the conquest of the city in 1453. Visit the Roman underground building of Basilica Cistern, a water storage facility that was built concurrently with Hagia Sophia during the rule of the Emperor Justinian.Our guide will take you to the famous Blue Mosque, fascinating example of the classical period of Ottoman architecture, adorned with over twenty one thousands of Nicaean tiles on the walls. Continue the day listening to legendary stories of the hippodrome area, admiring even more monuments of antiquity from the ancient Greece and Egypt such as Serpent Column and Theodosius Column.
Cappadocia, Uchisar Castle, Pigeon Valley, Goreme Open Air Museum, Esentepe and Ortahisar, Red Valley and Avanos
Cappadocia
Uchisar Castle which is the highest point in the region. You will have the best panoramic view of the area and then walk in the old town among the old stone houses and hotels. Then you will stop by the Pigeon Valley to see the pigeons and pigeon houses.Next head to Goreme Open Air Museum to see the rock-cut churches having frescoes and paintings dating to 10th to 13th centuries. Next stop is Esentepe with a spectacular view over Goreme, valleys and rock formations. Afternoon, visit to Ortahisar with natural castle, enjoy the view of the old town with a different settlement pattern. Then you will drive to Red Valley (Kızılcukur) where you will have magnificent panoramic view of the area with colorful valleys. We would like to give the opportunity to you to experience also the local and traditional arts of this special place, which is pottery.

5.00Tours of You was a great choice for our trip to Turkey, and an affordable one too. We worked with Oyku, who helped us design a trip across Istanbul, Cappadocia, Antalya, and Bodrum that we loved. She found excellent guides for us (Doğuş Coşar in Istanbul, Ezgi in Cappadocia), designed good itineraries, and arranged comfortable transport (particularly with Enes in Cappadocia) in each location. She was also incredibly responsive, seemingly at all hours of the day. We would highly recommend Tours of You to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable trip to Turkey.

5.00We had a wonderful custom 2-day tour of Cappadocia with Toursofyou. Hayal did a great job arranging everything and was very responsive when I needed questions answered. Serkan was one of the best guides I've ever had. Very, very knowledgeable and a great guy to spend a couple of days with. My wife and I had a great time and will recommend Cappadocia and Toursofyou to everyone we talk to about this.
We were so pleased that we found someone that could make our dreams reality and it was so easy.

5.00We give Tour of Turkey and Öykü our highest recommendation. She planned a special tour for us that included a visit to Karamursel, where we were married and lived for 18 months. We also had a guided tour of Dolmabahce Palace and a ferry to one of the beautiful islands. All the planning and execution were seamless. Communication was always prompt and our questions were always answered. We were so pleased that we found a company and individual willing and able to fulfill a life long dream.

5.00Oyku is a fantastic, dedicated, friendly, and thoughtful person to work with. She organized a tour to Capadoccia for me and two friends. She set us up in a lovely, authentic, yet economical hotel, arranged for a guide who was absolutely lovely (Gulcen), and organized transport to and from Istanbul. In looking for hotels, Oyku cautioned about expense and location and was therefore mindful of helping us spend our money well. She is fantastic and was always responsive quickly. If the rest of the staff compares to her, you cannot go wrong. And, you can't beat Gulcen. She is well-versed in history, affable, engaging, and enthusiastic about what she does as a guide.

5.00Engaging with a tour operator is a leap of faith, especially in an unfamiliar place. But you can have complete confidence in Öykü of Tours of You. From planning the trip beforehand in Boston all the way to our final dropoff at our hotel in Istanbul, she was available on WhatsApp fielding questions, giving advice and managing her excellent team of drivers and guides - thank you, Mustafa and Sait! We designed a private two-day trip to Cappadocia and a one-day trip to Edirne (an ancient city in the northwest corner, near Bulgaria). For a very reasonable price, we got a bespoke tour worth far more. Öykü made everything seamless and communication could not have been better - attentive, prompt, pleasant and helpful. Everything was done by WhatsApp - info on drivers and photos on where to meet them at the airport, boarding passes, times to meet, questions, etc. It was nice to have a running list of everything in one thread. No need to search through email or albums. It was a pleasure working with you, Öykü, and we look forward to another trip in the future.

5.00Our family did a private Biblical tour of Izmir, Ephesus, Bergama, Thyatira, Philedelphia, Laodikea, Pamukkale and the region. It exceeded all our expectations. Our guide Rabia was knowledgeable and informed us of the cultural and Biblical value of each of the places. We also learned of Turkish traditions, was treated to Turkish foods and enjoyed this tour a lot. Shenol, our driver, should also be mentioned. Together Rabia and Shenol made us feel welcone and like family. We received excellent servive from ToursofYou, Rabia and Shenol. I would highly recommend anyone to book a tour with ToursofYou and Rabia.
