Day 1: Bruny Island

Explore the island’s unique environments with easy walks through temperate rainforests, encountering native wildlife along the way and indulging in the finest local produce, including award-winning oysters, fudge, honey, and seafood.
With its diverse offerings, Bruny Island is the perfect destination for nature enthusiasts and food lovers alike.

Day 2: Hobart Highlights
Our adventure begins at kunanyi/Mt. Wellington (1272m), where you’ll enjoy Tasmania’s pristine air and stunning panoramic views of Hobart—perfect for a selfie! As we descend, your guide will take you on a loop through Hobart’s city highlights, sharing stories behind its historic landmarks and vibrant culture. Next, explore Salamanca Market (Saturdays only), a vibrant showcase of Tasmanian art, produce, buskers, and souvenirs. We then journey through the Coal River Valley wine region, stopping at Wicked Cheese for a complimentary tasting. In historic Richmond, admire Australia’s oldest bridge and church, with time for lunch and optional tastings at Drink Tasmania. Finally, visit Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to meet kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, and other unique Aussie wildlife.

Day 3: Port Arthur & the Tasman Peninsula
Experience the best of Tasmania’s UNESCO World Heritage Site, Port Arthur, and the stunning Tasman Peninsula with our comprehensive tour.
Immerse yourself in the rich history of the Port Arthur Historic Site, which includes a captivating harbour cruise. Spend the Morning indulging in delicious local produce with visits to the Chocolate Factory (own cost) and Lavender Farm (own cost). If history is what you came for, enjoy the full 4 hours exploring the historic site. If you are up for one more experience, then you can hop back onboard the bus after 3 hours for a trip to the Remarkable Cave. Just a short 8-minute drive away, you will be greeted with the spectacular vista of Maingon Bay.
Sit back, relax, and let us take you back in time on this fully guided journey to experience some of Tasmania’s most significant convict history.

What you need to know
This tour bundle is made up of daily tours that operate independently. The order of the tours may vary depending on availability and your start date, though the Hobart Highlights day tour is fixed on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included from selected locations, but pickup times and exact locations may vary based on where you choose. Accommodation is not included in this bundle, giving you the freedom to pick the hotel that best suits your travel style. We offer pickups from most hotels in and around Hobart. If your accommodation isn’t listed, and you're staying within the city, your designated pickup point will typically be within a 100–300 metre walk.
Cancellation Policy
Minimum 35 days notice of cancellation required. Notification for instance, in person, via email, mobile phone ‘text message’ and/or fax, or any other means will be accepted subject to confirmation in writing.

3.00The itinerary in the website for this package was not really what we got in some tours - there were places listed in the itinerary in the website which the tour guides did not take us to. If what is advertised differs from the actual tour, it should be communicated prior to us.

5.00All 3 day tours were excellent. I must give special mention to Gray who took us on the Saturday Hobart highlights tour which included a morning at the markets and the views at Mount Wellington. Also the guide Rob who took us to the Port Arthur Historic site. We also stopped for some breathtaking views that are the most stunning I have ever seen. Tassie tours were well organised and good value. The guides know their history and we learnt a lot we never knew. Loved Hobart and will be back for sure.
