Today, we will drive to the Sundial Bridge which is a true piece of art. Following, we will drive to Shasta Dam , the most famous in California! It will certainly bring you an unexpected big surprise! It has been called one of the greatest engineering feats of all time. Itinerary: San Francisco → Sundial Bridge (30 mins) → Shasta Dam (Mandatory, 60 mins) → Klamath Falls
Sundial Bridge
The Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay is a world-famous pedestrian bridge and public art installation that crosses the Sacramento River in Redding and connects the north and south campuses of Turtle Bay Exploration Park. As the name suggests, the Sundial Bridge is, in fact, a working sundial and is one of the largest in the world. The sundial shadow traces such a large arc that it can record only four hours a day, from 11am - 3pm. It is not accurate in winter because the shadow is too far into the arboretum to be seen. The bridge celebrates human creativity and ingenuity, important themes of the 300 acre Turtle Bay Exploration Park. The steel, glass, and granite span evokes a sense of weightlessness and the translucent, non-skid decking provides for spectacular viewing at night. The bridge is also environmentally sensitive to its river setting.
Shasta Dam
(Mandatory, 60 mins) Shasta Dam, dwarfed only by Hoover and Grand Coulee dams when it was completed on the Sacramento River in 1945, is breathtaking not only for its great size, but for its majestic setting in the southern range of the Cascades. The 602 foot-high, concrete, curved gravity dam holds back an immense blue reservoir, Lake Shasta, which boasts a 365-mile shoreline nestled amid evergreen hills and the snow-covered volcanic peak of Mount Shasta.

Crater Lake National Park
Crater Lake national park (Mandatory, 120 mins) Upon arrival, we will see the deepest lake in the United States and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The lake was formed after the collapse of mount mazama - an ancient volcano that erupted approximately 7,700 years ago, the length of lake is 6 miles and width is 4 miles with a depth of 1932 feet. Special Note: 1. If Crater Lake National Park is closed, it will be replaced by Sea Lion Cave and Thor's Well, please understand.

Our recommended scenic drives through ancient forests, rugged coastline, upland prairies, and oak woodlands will have you planning a return visit in no time!
Redwood National and State Parks
California is one of the greatest places to visit in the United States due to its scenic beauty, culture, and great quantity of things to do. Today, we will arrive at Redwood National Forest and visit Founders Grove. Next we will head to the most famous wine country – Napa Valley. Here, you can enjoy the exclusive wine tasting tour! Itinerary: Eureka → Humboldt Redwoods State Park → Founders Grove (45 mins) → Redwood National Forest Drive-Thru Tree Park (30 mins) → Napa Valley (55 mins) → San Francisco
Founders Grove
Strolling in the forest trail, along the way are redwood trees about a thousand years old. The towering sea redwood forest is full of aura, and you can't help but sigh the magic of creation! Hiking on the Shenmu Trail, take a deep breath of nature!
The Chandelier Tree In Drive-Thru Tree Park
What California icon is 2,400 years old and has cars driving through it every summer day? If you guessed the Chandelier Drive-Thru Tree in Leggett—an hour’s drive north of Willits and three hours from the San Francisco Bay Area—you know your redwoods. For more than 80 years, road-trippers have been capturing photos of their cars squeezing through the Chandelier Tree’s six-foot-wide and seven-foot-tall tunnel, which was carved into its trunk in 1937.
Napa Valley
The Napa Valley is, indisputably, one of the world’s most recognized wine regions. We will visit the famous Sutter home Chateau and taste five kinds of wine: Reserve White Zinfandel, Pinot Grigio, Zinfandel, Moscato, Zinfandel port!

The tour was not what I expected at all. It was completely in Mandarin.. It is unacceptable to sell this as an English spoken tour. The guide did not communicate that we thought we got lost at one point. It is fraudulent to sell a tour as a English tour, which we confirmed many times before the tour.. We had to sit in the backseat next to loose pile of luggage at left window. This was hazardous in our opinion and it was not planned properly to store luggage for all passengers. We will request a refund as we did not get what was promised.

Perfect 3-Day Adventure with Jason! Just got back, and I can't recommend this tour enough! The route took us through so many stunning spots in the redwoods, Crater Lake, and beyond — and somehow we managed to see it all without ever feeling rushed. My favorite moment was when Jason made an impromptu stop at a beach off Highway 101 — totally unexpected and absolutely beautiful. The whole itinerary was super well planned, with just the right amount of time at each place to really take it all in. Huge shoutout to Jason, our tour leader, who made the entire trip even better. He drove like a pro (smooth and safe all the way), kept everything on track, and brought such a relaxed, fun energy to the group. He was also super thoughtful — making sure the car was cool before we got in, snapping great photos for everyone, and genuinely looking out for each person. His vibe made the whole experience feel effortless and fun from beginning to end. If you're thinking about exploring this part of the country, go for it — and definitely go with Jason if you can!

Traveled one day in snow and rain, turned around and returned to San Francisco the same day. The bad weather was well televised and we still left SF.

I’d a brilliant trip with Lei Song-the tour guide. We visited many American small town like Redding, Klamath Falls, Eureka, experienced spectacular scenery during roadtrip. We entered Crater lake National Park and walked on the redwood trail in several redwood national parks. At the end, we had a satisfying trip throughout 101 - the Redwood Highway and went down to Sutter home winery in Napa Valley. Thanks for such a kind tour guide!

The tour was not at all as I expected: it was completely in Mandarin! It is unacceptable to sell this as an English-spoken tour. Maybe it was worse than usual because I was the only person not speaking Chinese, but all 10-15 minutes stories about the sights were summarised to me as "This stop: Crater lake, 1 hour." The tour guide, though very friendly and well-intentioned, really struggled with English even for the practical stuff like explaining where to go for dinner. That being said, the stops and hotels were both nice and the driving was okay (though really quite fast, our driver even got a speeding ticket...). If you just want to be dropped off at lovely sights, or if you speak at least a bit of Mandarin, then I would actually recommend this tour. My main problem with this tour is the fact that they sell this as an English-spoken, guided tour: there was no guidance for me at all.

The tour was safe, organized, and the route was as advertised. Hotels were clean and suitable. We saw all the sights we wanted to see. Not a con but good to know: The tour was primarily non-English speaking and this was not made clear via the online booking site (at the time of booking). Company page should be more clear on this point. The English speaking passengers did not have the same experience as the non-English speaking passengers. I was informed by one of the passengers that the tour guide was very funny. I got that impression from all the laughter. Luckily we did not need much guidance to enjoy nature.
