Brilliant trekking tour of the area around Sapa. The sleeper bus is clean and comfortable. The accommodation is lovely, and the food is excellent. Chang our guide was lovely and gave us a lot of information during the treks. The scenery was beautiful. It’s cool at times- bring a warm jacket.

First of all, I want to say that my guide, Mai, gets 5 stars! This is over all a good experience for me. The hikes were beautiful, and Mai was an attentive guide, stopping along the way to explain about the different plants and traditional living of the locals, making sure I was okay during the tricky parts of the trail. I took off one star because of some confusing organization elements. Every day I was with a different group, which as a solo traveler meant I couldn't really get to know anyone. The first day, when we just arrived at Sapa and went for lunch, I was seated separately from everyone. I thought maybe we weren't doing the same trek, but we were, so I just spent the first hour alone for no reason, watching everyone eat together. I was sleeping at a different place then the rest of the group, so they took me to my home stay on scooter at night. I was fine, but I can see some people not being comfortable with that. My home stay was great though, and food was amazing there, so not complaining about that. Just spent every day not knowing where I'm going or who I'm going to be with😅

We had a three-day guided tour in Sapa with Pam, booked through our hostel in Hanoi, and it was a wonderful experience. Pam has lived in Sapa her entire life, which means she has a great deal of knowledge about the local culture, nature, and traditions. For example, she told us that the village where she lives consists of two different tribes, which was interesting to learn about. Pam is genuinely interested in the people she guides, and it was comfortable to have conversations with her. Her English is good and easy to follow. When I mentioned that we might want to visit Mount Fansipan, she immediately knew how to fit it into the schedule. During the hikes, she shared personal stories, including about a local tradition she experienced herself, which made the tour extra special. The walks were beautiful, and Pam adapted well to our pace. I would definitely recommend her to other travelers. Thank you Pam! Kind regards, Nina

This trek was amazing! It was so great to trek through the mountain villages of Sapa. Greeting locals and staying with a lovely home stay. Sú was our guide and she was 100/10. She was really kind and knowledgable, always happy to explain and answer any questions the group had. She was lenient in letting us stop for break and for photo opportunities as well. Always letting us know when something stunning like a waterfall or the bamboo Forrest was coming up. If I was to go again I would 100% do more tours with Sú. We were lucky enough to have a small 6 person group, which allowed us a fun and family like adventure.
