Tunxi Ancient Street

It's located in the center of the old city of Tunxi, there are hundreds of old but well preserved rows of shops, evoking a bygone era in buildings that are simple and elegant. There you can enjoy a leisurely walk among the ancient buildings and look around to search for a bargain.

Hu Kaiwen Ink Factory, a hidden gem nestled in Tunxi Old Street. It's established centuries ago, which is renowned for producing the best-of-the-best traditional Chinese ink. This old factory showcases the intricate process of ink-making, preserving ancient techniques passed down through generations. You can witness the craftsmanship involved in creating high-quality ink sticks, explore the rich cultural heritage. It's a fascinating glimpse into China's artistic and cultural history.

Mt. Huangshan

Today you will spend a day and a night on the Yellow Mountains. It takes about 1 hour drive from central Huangshan City to reach the foot of the Yellow Mountains. Your Yellow Mountains discovery begins at the Yungu cable car. Don't miss the magnificent scenery along your 10-minute cableway up to the Mt. Huangshan. Your professional guide speaks good English and knowledgeable with everything about Mt. Huangshan, they spending over 200 days a year in the mountains. They will tailor a hiking route just for you. Yungu Temple

Yungu Temple is at the foot of Mt. Huangshan, and you'll take a cableway here upper to Huangshan Mountains.

Shixin Peak

After cableway, walk to lofty Shixin Peak (Begin-to-Believe Peak, 1668m) to stretch your eyesight over cloud seas to far distance.

Xihai Great Canyon

For an energetic hiker: After the cable car, walk about 30 minutes to the hotel, see Umbrella Pine and Black Tiger Pine along the way. After lunch, explore the West Sea Grand Canyon. The whole hiking lasts for over 3 hours, covering the 1st ring, 2nd ring, and bottom of the canyon. If time and strength permit, you can further explore the Flying-over Rock and watch the sunset at Bright Summit. It takes about 40 minutes to get back to the hotel. For beginners, children, and senior citizens: After the cable car, walk about 30 minutes to the hotel, and see Black Tiger Pine and Dream Flower Pine on the way. After lunch, walk to West Sea Grand Canyon. You can decide how long you would like to walk for: reaching the 1st ring and returning takes about 2 hours; reaching the 2nd ring and returning takes about 2½ hours. Then enjoy the sunset at Cloud-dispelling Pavilion. It takes about 30 minutes to get back to the hotel. *The West Sea Grand Canyon is closed annually from Dec. to next Mar.

If you still have the time and energy, dedicate an hour to exploring the breathtaking Sky Sea Scenic Area. Witness the stunning sunset from Bright Summit, the second highest peak at 1840 meters.

Marvel at the incredible Flying-over Rock before retreating to your mountain hotel for a good rest.

Mt. Huangshan

Wake up early, around 5 to 6 a.m., to catch the stunning sunrise at Yellow Mountain. Head to the Refreshing Terrace, just a quick walk from Beihai Hotel. On clear days, you'll see the sun's golden rays cutting through the mist, lighting up the rocky peaks above the fluffy clouds. After soaking in the view, head back to the hotel for a tasty breakfast.

Continue your amazing adventure on Yellow Mountain by visiting the famous Dawn Pavilion. This iconic spot offers breathtaking views that are perfect for capturing unforgettable photos. As you explore, immerse yourself in the natural beauty and serene atmosphere that make this mountain so special.

The Refreshing Terrace is a must-visit spot on Yellow Mountain, offering a serene setting to soak in the stunning scenery. This terrace provides panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Stone Monkey Watching the Sea is one of Yellow Mountain's most intriguing formations. This natural wonder resembles a monkey gazing thoughtfully over a sea of clouds. It's a captivating sight that sparks the imagination and offers a unique photo opportunity. As you stand before it, let the mystical atmosphere and breathtaking views inspire awe and wonder.

Finally, you'll reach the Lion Peak. It's a striking highlight of Yellow Mountain, known for its majestic resemblance to a crouching lion. Your discovery of Mt.Huangshan will finish with the Yungu Cableway back to the bottom. Your guide will take you to get all your luggage and board the vehicle, and then transfer to the airport or train station for departure.
