Meet your guide and driver upon arrival at Arba Minch airport (early afternoon arrival) and drive to Dorze village, in the Gamo Highlands about 40 minutes outside of Arba Minch town. The Dorze people are a very welcoming community known for their weaving, pottery, highland rural lifestyle their traditional elephant shape bamboo house and food made from “Enset” the false banana plant. After visiting Dorze village drive back to Arba Minch for a sunset drink and meal overlooking the spectacular Nech Sar National Park and the two rift valley lakes.

After breakfast drive to Konso village. The Konso area is a UNESCO world heritage site known for their sustainable way of life and unique traditional cultures. You will have a guided tour of the village by local guide and residents (impressive terracing farming land, stone curved villages and visit the local market, market days Monday & thursday) lunch at Kanta lodge, before driving back to Arba Minch visit the Konso museum which built by UNESCO.

After breakfast you will have a leisurely morning hike through the Nech Sar National Park "forty springs" luscious forest (Arba Minch means "forty spring"' in the local language). while in the thick forest you will have the chance to see wildlife such as, Warthog, Colobus Monkeys, Baboon, Dik-Dik, Vervet Monkey and different species of birds in the canopy. You also have the chance to have a dip in the groundwater spring- a pristine natural bath. After lunch you will do a boat trip on Lake Chamo, one of the Rift Valley lakes. the lake is vast and serene , with the opportunity to spot a lot of Nile crocodiles, hippos, pelicans and other birdlife. local fisherman are also prevalent in the lake where you can the local livelihoods. afterwards drive back to the hotel.

5.00Our trip with See Us Arba Minch was absolutely amazing! From the stunning Lake Chamo boatride, where we spotted Nile crocodiles and so many birds, to the fun forest walk in Arba Minch, where we saw tons of baboons—it was a real adventure from start to finish. Day two was all about culture, with a visit to the Dorze village to check out their unique elephant-shaped houses. We even got lucky and caught the local market, which was full of color and life! The scenic viewpoints along the way were just breathtaking. Huge shoutout to Kassa, our awesome guide—super knowledgeable, friendly, and always making sure we didn’t miss any hidden gems. His passion and energy made the trip even more special. Definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Arba Minch! 🌿🐊🏔️

5.00I had a fantastic experience with See is Arba Minch. Being here for work I had limited time to explore the area and had not planned any visits before my arrival so I contacted See Us pretty last minute with a request for a 1-day tour, specifically asking to discover the nature. Kassahun replied very promptly with a suggestion that fit perfectly my request, proposing an itinerary centres around exploring the local flora and fauna. We started with a morning hike in Arba Minch Evergreen Forest (we were accompanied by a very friendly park ranger) then went to Lake Abaya shore for a walk to spot birds, against a beautiful background of God’s Bridge. After a nice lunch and a short break we went for a boat ride on Lake Chamo to spot some crocodiles (Crocodile Market) and we finished the day with a short peaceful walk on lake Chamo shore to spot more birds, groups of baboons and witness the sunset. It was the perfect break I needed from work, being in such a luscious nature all day was such a peaceful experience. Kassahun was a very kind, knowledgeable and passionate guide. I particularly appreciated that he was friendly and informative and yet also respectful of precious moments of silent and contemplation. I highly recommend See Us Arba Minch. You can absolutely trust them to craft a tour that suits your wishes, and respects and benefits local communities.

5.00Kassahun was an amazing tour guide. He speaks excellent English and knowledgeable about the area. We had a great time exploring the region for three days. It was fun!! Easy direct flight from Addis Ababa. I would highly recommend Kassahun and See Us Arba Minch Tours.

Our flight from Addis Ababa was cancelled so See Us Arba Minch tour guide association arranged a car from Addis Ababa for us, which is great because we saw a lot while driving. Our guide Kassahun was fantastic with many years of experience. He explained everything during our trip, our visit to Nech Sar national park, Lake Chamo and Dorze village. We felt very safe throughout the trip. We are very happy with everything booked for us. The Hotel has a spectacular view, and a very good car and driver.
