3.00Our guide, Aka, was friendly and very accommodating for all our requests. I didn't rate the experience as 5 stars for 2 reasons. First, because we were all over the place with the supposedly planned schedule. The time management was not at its best so we didn't get to do all of what was written to be done. Second, regardless of how genuine and nice our guide was, he was a local more than a professionally trained or licensed tour guide. Thus, the "guiding" was very brief and my family and I sometimes ended up tuning in with the more talkative and detailed tour guides.

5.00Initially we had no contact of the tour operator or person who will be picking us up. But on the start of the day of tour Mr Aka the tour driver arrived on time at the pick-up point and took us around. The tour was compact and well represented to give a proper glimpses and experience of Georgia. It is suggested Viator provides the contacts of the person and car details beforehand to avoid last minute anxiety.

5.00We are two young Australians who were desperate to see as much of Georgia as possible throughout our short stay, and this was the perfect way to do it. We were shown exactly why Georgians are known for their amazing hospitality. Our guide had amazing recommendations for places to visit, historical knowledge, and great advice for restaurants and which foods and wines we would enjoy. The tour was also re-arranged in order to allow us to properly appreciate the beautiful surroundings because of the weather one day, which was so nice and was very unexpected. The level of service and local knowledge was second-to-none, and we were able to adjust our itinerary and spend more time at certain locations when required, which makes such a big difference when you are trying to see as much as possible.
