Thousand Islands Bridge
The Thousand Islands International Bridge (French: Pont des Mille-îles) is an American-maintained international bridge system over the Saint Lawrence River connecting northern New York in the United States with southeastern Ontario in Canada. Constructed in 1937, with additions in 1959, the bridges span the Canada–US border in the middle of the Thousand Islands region.
Boldt Castle and the Boldt Yacht House
Construction began on Boldt Castle in 1900 at the bidding of millionaire hotel magnate George C. Boldt as a tribute to his beloved wife Louise. Boldt Castle was designed as their summer dream home. A castle rivaling those of Europe, built on the St. Lawrence River, in the heart of the 1000 Islands. However it was not to be, Mrs. Boldt passed away suddenly just months before the completion of the castle. Mr. Boldt was inconsolable and immediately stopped all construction on Heart Island, leaving the property vacant for over seventy years.

Very relaxing experience, in the 3h you are always on the boat, there are no stops where you can get off. In my opinion, 2h could be enough.

Worst customer experience and « service » ever! I couldn’t make it on time due to a major crash on HGW 401. We were stucked for almost 2h30 hours before we were able to exit. Once we finally made it on site, the lady at the front desk was of any help. I wasn’t seeking refund, but was proposing another date / booking due to unforeseen situation out of my control. I even offered to buy the 5 hours package, which is more expensive, and asked if she would credit the one for today that I missed to compensate. She said there was nothing she could do, was of any support, and made me feel bad because I bought the package via a third party partner. Then why advertising on another platform if they obviously want you to book with them directly? I will never book there again. I will instead look with another operator offering a more friendly service that care for their customers!
