What To Expect

The kayaking tours will be a route on the Morro Bay Estuary that best suits your interests and viewing of wildlife, and the hiking tours vary with location with Big Sur and Montana de Oro as the featured regions. All tours are guided by a professional naturalist and guide and each kayak tour features instruction by a certified paddling instructor.

Mandi was very knowledgeable about the area and the biodiversity. The short hike had an amazing view at the top. Kayaking was fantastic with lots of wildlife! 2- person Kayaks, so even little kids would be fine having an adult in the boat with them.

I can’t possibly praise Mandy Davis enough! She was an absolute treasure of a resource, and knew the area like the back of her hand. First, she drove us less than 10 minutes away from the harbor, to a hike with an awesome panoramic view of Morro Bay and surrounding area. Along the hike, she told us the names of countless indigenous plants. She is a biologist and so intelligent. After the hike, she gave us a lesson on proper kayaking technique. Then, we had a lovely time on the water, seeing sea otters and sea lions and other wildlife. Mandy was considerate and thoughtful and patient. Best of all was the wealth of knowledge she shared with us!

Mandy, was extremely knowledgeable. We appreciated the short hike prior to get a perspective of where we would be kayaking. It was a delightful day and we highly recommend it. A gorgeous way to see the wildlife and learn more about the area.

Mandy was an amazing guide. Would highly recommend this tour. We saw seals, sea otters, and harbor seals. Mandy was knowledgeable about the estuary.

We had a great time. Loved seeing the otters with their babies. Our guide was very knowledgeable. The hike was fun and easy. She was also a good teacher and the kayaking was fun.

The experience was wonderful and our tour guide Mandy was super friendly and knowledgeable. We did a short hike and got a 360 degree view of Morro bay and the estuary. We also kayaked and got a ton of info on the eco system and all the animals that make this beautiful place their home. Lots of fun, I highly recommend!!

This is a MUST while visiting Moro Bay! Everything was beyond our expectations. The service of Mandy was stunning; the hike was on point, very scenic and great to understand about the bay and the estuary. Then, we did the kayak tour which was very complete; we workout, we had incredible views, we learned a lot about the flora and fauna of the area, we got to see the sea otters, the sea lions, a couple of seals, many beautiful starfish and tons of birds. This was an incredible adventure to celebrate my fiancé's birthday! We highly recommend Mandy and her adventure trips, we will definitely be back!

Hiking up the hill to see the estuary from above and then paddling on it was a wonderful adventure. Mandy is very knowledgeable about everything associated with the estuary: the plant life, marine life, tides, etc. The kayaking was not strenuous so first timers need not worry.
Wildheart Coastal Adventures kayaking trip makes we want to go again and again!

Had a wonderful kayaking/hiking day with Mandy. I'm no spring chicken and this was my first time kayaking. Her paddling instruction was spot on. I wasn't sore at all the next day. Her extensive knowledge of the estuary ecosystem and its wildlife made the trip so much more worthwhile than renting kayaks on your own. We saw an oprey, many sea otters, including a mother and her pup, pelicans, and even saw a bald eagle! I highly recommend spending some time with Mandy at Wildheart Coastal Adventures!
