Grand Canyon South Rim
Voted best and most captivating 3 hour Sunset tour at Grand Canyon. Informative, local guides describe Grand Canyon geological formations, Native American history, mule and hiking trail systems, and the rich history of this region. Includes Tusayan pick-up, south entrance gate detour during 30 minute off-road excursion, viewing of native wildlife such as elk, deer and rare bird species in their natural environment; culminating at Grandview Point where the fading sunlight turns the Canyon into a kaleidoscope of colors.
Yavapai Point

The red cliffs and hills were beautiful. We got to see them up close and learn about their development. So interesting. Michael was so informative and friendly.

It was an okay experience, nothing exceptional. We did go through the Kaibab forest, which was good to see although we never stopped driving. The rest of the tour seemed to lack substance. We got information on which lodging there is in the park, we stopped at Yavasupai geological museum (visited on our own while the guide waited), and then we looked at the sunset. It wasn’t really off road, it was mostly what we’ve seen while hiking around and some of the most popular spots while we expected something others wouldn’t get to. I think this could be a great tour on Day 1, upon arrival to get the layout, but not worth it on your third day, especially if you’re a big hiker. The guide was a very nice person, he was sweet to everyone, but the information given felt a bit scripted.

We had an incredible tour - such a great way to experience not only the highlights of the Grand Canyon but also some of the lesser-known areas tucked away in the forest. Our guide, Mark, was fantastic: insightful with all the details he shared and wonderfully accommodating in helping us capture photos that will make this a lasting memory for my son and me. Thank you and I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Grand Canyon!
