Robert was knowledgeable and generous with details about Shanghai that we wouldn’t have discovered were it not for having a truly local guide.

Our guide Robert met us at our hotel on time. Robert spoke excellent English and took us by taxi to the Shanghai Jewish Refugee Museum. It’s quite unimpressive from the street but once you get inside and move from room to room it’s very impressive. Although Robert is a local Shanghai citizen he has a good understanding of the history of the Jewish community in Shanghai and it’s a very interesting story and really worthwhile. The tour finished with a visit to the Peace hotel which was originally the home of the Sassoon family in Shanghai

This tour with Lea was exceptional. She was very interesting and well-informed, answered our many questions and didn't rush us. We toured the Refugee Museum and then walked around the neighborhood of the Jewish Ghetto in Shanghai. We went to several other locations in the Bund too. Well worth the time and money. One of the highlights of our group's visit to China.

Robert was a great guide, the museum was interesting, and the old neighborhood and it's architecture was fascinating to see compared to the more traditional Chinese architecture of other old neighborhoods.

We booked 3 hrs Jewish tour with Lea which was great. She was on time and very knowledgeable and I can happily recommend her and the company. Jewish museum is a wonderful place and the buildings surrounding it with the little park (the former Jewish neighbourhood) is also quite interesting..
