What To Expect
Tanjung Rhu
You'll start at Tanjung Rhu Beach and go to explore the mangrove river. You can go to Tanjung Rhu from your places by any transportation and just search Tanjung Rhu beach. There have a few travel agent counter and you can go to our counter at the right side corner which is the first counter.
Kilim Geoforest Park
Bat cave (stop 20 minutes), fish farm/floating restaurant (stop 50 minutes), crocodile cave, eagle watching, gorilla mountain (pass by without stopping). View of Kilim Karst Geopark (staying on the boat to take photos for 20 minutes), and Set sail on a mesmerizing 30-minute cruise across the Andaman Sea, gliding through pristine waters and surrounded by lush tropical islands. Without any stops along the way, this journey offers uninterrupted views of the breathtaking seascape. And if you're fortunate, you may even catch a glimpse of playful dolphins swimming alongside, making this experience all the more magical. 5.00We took a 3 hour trip on a shared boat through the mangroves. The guide was young and well informed. He kept us safe -making sure that we all wore life jackets. The trip took in beautiful scenery, the open sea and a couple of stops -the forst 2 watch the kites swooping down to take fish, then at the bat caves where we didn't actually see bats but we walked through a part of the mangrove forest. The last 1 we stopped at a fish restaurant and farm - some of the fish for consumption but lots just swimming around for tourists to look at. Maohammad our Guide was informative, entertaining and really engaging. Definitely recommemd it.

5.00We had a private guided tour with the guide Shafwan from Junglewalla ( the Langkawi Unesco Geopark Mangrove Cruise). This was an absolute great experience. Very knowledgeable and nice guide and boat-captain. We brought two small kids and the tour of 2.5 hrs is fine with the kids, we felt safe and had a really good time. One of the best tours and best guide we have had on Langkawi. Do bring snacks for when the kids needs ‘a change’ 🙂 the last bit of open water sailing was also fine; nice with the breeze & with no big waves. Can really recommend this also with small kids 🤩

5.00Great trip through the mangroves with plenty of monkeys, sea Eagles and through the bar caves. Well English spoken guide with a sense of humour. We had a nice lunch on a floating fish farm restaurant.

2.00A guided boat tour that introduced itself as “no nature guide”. First speeding to a place where eagles are fed every day, then speeding to a place where monkeys are fed (and come on board), then speeding to a number of caves (at the same time as all other boats). Then speeding across the open sea to a floating fish restaurant. All in all, this tour does not do justice to the beautiful nature this area has to offer. No explanation of nature was given and no effort was made to see animals (other than the animals being fed). The priority was hard sailing with the speedboat. Disappointing experience that is definitely not in line with ecologically responsible tourism that some reviews refer to.

5.00OMG what a phenomenal experience!!! The unesco protected mangroves are a treasure on earth this is a must see! Great if your solo traveling, or not. Worth every penny and more. amazing guide Mohammed thank you so much. My favourite activity on my whole teip to malaysia because it shows the natural beauty of this place

5.00Very pleasant to sail (race) along the coastline to the place where you go up the river with an eye for the specific coastal parts and fisherman. Then the river following the monkeys on the side to see and explanation from the guide. Then you can see the brown osprey in countless numbers. Lunch at a floating restaurant with “breeding ponds” Great experience. I say do!

5.00It was a nice Trip, sadly on a very rainy day. Seen Lots of monkeys , eagles, bats ( in the cave ) and a snake. Would recommend it, but on Bad weather days, you should wear a swimsuit or something similar.
