Sail Ningaloo is a sailing Catamaran which takes up to 8 passengers on 4 and 7 day cruise on Ningaloo Reef. Ningaloo Reef is supposed to be one of the best and healthiest Reefs in the world. Arriving at Learmouth RAAF Airbase / Airport is interesting. It is very tiny and the main building was closed due to damage from a Cyclone. Sail Ningaloo van was there waiting to take us on the 45 min to hour drive to the boat. The scenery along the way is quite boring – scrub bush and termite mounds. About the boat: It is an old Catamaran, 51 feet in length and 27 feet wide. It is a very stable vessel. It is well maintained. The Crew of 3 are excellent! There were 3 couple and one guy on his own. None of us knew each other but we got along famously! Everything starts with a friendly but though safety briefing. After the briefing we motored to our first site for a snorkel and a dive. This boat is primarily a snorkel boat, my wife and I were the only divers on the boat. The on board divemaster is experienced and very through and we enjoyed diving with him. The first dive was very much appreciated (I get cranking if I don’t break compressed air for several days). Quite unfortunately, we arrived 1 week after a Cyclone force 3 – 4 blew through the area. In addition we also arrived 1 day after the annual coral spawning. All of this created some cloudy visibility. The crew is very accommodating and try to make things as easy as possible. As an example, we requested a night dive, not something they usually do but did take us on a night dive. Many props to them! The food on board was incredible - Emma our Chef and person of many hats created some incredible meals for us with snacks in between. Charlie, our captain and man of many hats was excellent at the grill and Hendrix our Dive Master, Snorkel Master and man of many hats was always making things just a little bit better. He had a knack for remembering what we liked to drink first thing in the morning and magically making it appear as we emerged from out cabins. Cabins were small as you would expect with no A/C but the air flow from the hatches we decent. It is a VERY relax trip - time to chill - dive - chill - eat too much, etc. Many thanks to Charlie, Emma and Hendrix for making our trip a great experience.

Highlight of our trip to Western Australia. Such an amazing way to see Ningaloo reef and 9 times out of 10 there are no other boats in sight during the trip. Dom, Josh and Hendrick were all amazing and all talented in different ways. Food was lovely. We were a couple with one diving and one snorkelling and the trip worked well for this. For us it was the perfect way to get in the water whilst also being a luxury experience. The photos and videos taken throughout the trip are so lovely to keep forever! We are already trying to figure out when we can come back to Australia to do the trip again.

My 15 year old daughter and I had a phenomenal 3 night experience on the Shore Thing, celebrating my 50th birthday. We witnessed the most amazing marine life on the reef, including the a family of mantarays (who put on a spectacular show), turtles, reef sharks and many beautiful, colourful fish - all in the backdrop of incredible coral structures which blew my mind. The crew on Shore Thing (Dom, Hendrick and Hannah) were fabulous in every way. We did not want for anything. We were lucky to have 6 other wonderful guests from different walks of life. I highly recommend this adventure.

I had been dreaming of diving and snorkelling the Ningaloo for quite some time to experience some of the images I’d only seen on a screen. Sail Ningaloo exceeded all my, already ambitious expectations, completely. The most amazing crew, first class meals and wonderful company. They took me to the heart of this magnificent place and I smiled until my face hurt. Imagine the Maldives, the reefs off Port Douglas and Heron Island, all in one place and that’s where Sail Ningaloo took us! All the mega fauna and macro too. (Ps: Slept so well in a great cabin with private toilet and shower) Get here as soon as you can 🩵

I had the best time and experience on SureThing. The crew worked hard to make our experience memorable. They were keen to spot wildlife, and pass on their expert knowledge of Ningaloo reef and its wildlife. The boat is spacious and easy to keep organised. The bedroom and en-suite facilities were very comfortable and modern. Swimming with manta rays, sharks, turtles and dugong full filled all my wish list.

This is a bucket list thing to do! We did the 3 day sail in early August and it was way better than I could have dreamed. A minimum of 2 snorkels every day, plus an amazing swim with a Manta Ray! The accommodation on board is extremely comfortable and the meals were very tasty, generous and excellently made. The crew were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Waking up on the reef at Sunrise is special and the sunsets are spectacular, oh and then the night sky!! I can't recommend this tour enough. From the moment I contacted them, they made our visit to Ningaloo easy by helping book accommodation and other tours.

Three amazing days seeing parts of the Nigaloo Reef that most people (besides the folks leading this boat) know about. Staff was amazing. Dives were amazing. Humpback whales, manta rays, whale sharks, Orcas, pods of stingrays, turtles, fish and coral you have to see to believe. Book this trip now!
