まず、ポール・マッカートニーがサインした、写真や自撮りに最適な有名なペニー・レーンの看板へご案内します。次に、ペニー・レーンの曲が生まれた経緯について詳しくご説明いたします。その後、ガイド/ドライバーと一緒にペニー・レーンを下り、曲を聴きながら、曲の歌詞に出てくる理髪店やシェルターを見学します。
Strawberry Field
ジョン・レノンが歌を書くきっかけとなった、孤児院だった頃のこの場所を訪れます。現在は無料で入場できる見学場所となっており、トイレなどの設備が整っています。小さなコーヒー/ティールーム、土産物店、素敵な庭園エリアがあり、正面玄関には有名なストロベリーフィールドの門があり、素晴らしい写真や自撮りを楽しめます。

5.00Owen from A Day in the Life tours provided an incredible tour of Liverpool with in depth narrative of Penny Lane, Strawberry Field and residences of John, Paul, George and Ringo. His spacious clean cab, customer care and extensive knowledge made for a memorable three hours.

5.00Our guide, John, was VERY knowledgeable about all things Beatles as well as Liverpool itself. He had a fantastic native Liverpool accent that, while at times was difficult for us to understand, we absolutely loved listening to!! He took us all over town to the original home of each of the Fab Four, told us stories about when & how they met, and let us get out, walk around, and take all the pictures we wanted. Definitely worth it!! Thank you!!
