I had the best time in Meteora and Delphi thanks to the great organisation of logistics and fantastic guides by Visit Meteora. Maria was my guide for the sunset tour and even though the weather had other plans for us, I could go on listening to Maria's sharing about Meteora and the monasteries sprinkled with stories from her childhood! I love her storytelling! On the second day, we went on a hiking tour led by Christos. Perfectly paced, scenic views, and an experienced guide who definitely knew the flora and fauna of Meteora like the back of his hand. Couldn't have asked for a better hiking experience - I highly recommend this option. Day 3 was rather light, with a drop-off a Delphi and free and easy time to explore the town and archaeological museum on our own before meeting back for KTEL bus to Athens. For a tour with mostly AM/half-day activities, I do think it slightly misses the mark in terms of value / for the price paid but I suppose other tours are rather similarly priced. Wish there was a guide for Delphi as well, but I don't regret having booked this either way! Cheers!

This 3-day tour combining Meteora and Delphi was hands down one of the best experiences of our trip! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, making it completely stress-free. Meteora was absolutely breathtaking. The sunset tour was magical, with incredible views as the sun set over the rock formations. The hiking tour the next day was a highlight—peaceful, scenic, and full of hidden spots you’d never find on your own. The transfer to Delphi was smooth and comfortable, and visiting such an iconic historical site added a whole new dimension to the trip. It felt like the perfect combination of nature, history, and authentic local experiences. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about what they do. Small group size made everything more personal and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a complete, well-balanced experience in Greece, this tour is an absolute must. Highly recommended!

From pickup in Athens to Meteora through drop off in Delphi this tour was excellent! The bus ride from Delphi to Athens was terrible! The bus ride from Delphi to Athens was 25 minutes late to pickup, and then stopped for more pickups, then soon after, the bus driver took a 20-30 minute break. On arrival to Athens he stopped a few times to drop off, then we arrived at Bus Terminal about 7:45 instead of scheduled estimated time of 6:30. All of this while we were sitting in assigned seats so close together I couldn’t move my feet and no fan or air conditioning. The bus ride on Visit Meteora bus from Athens to Kalambaka was roomy and pleasant! The tour vans were pleasant. The 2 different tour guides, Jim and Dmitry, were informative, pleasant, and helpful! The driver of the minivan that took one other couple from our hotel to Delphi was a good driver needed to drive windy mountains. I would not recommend this 3 day trip. I originally had 2 different tours, 2 days to Meteora and 1 day Delphi. I had wanted to spend less time on the road and thought this would be better, but now know it wasn’t.

This trip was very well organized. All the personnel including, the buss drivers and the guides all had full control of who were going where and what was going to happen next. The guide we had on day one in Meteora was very knowledgeable. Delphi It was one annoying thing about Delphi. When we bought tickets to the museum and the archeological site, we were forced to visit the museum first. This is not the fault of the tour operator, the museum only.

We are actually only due to go in May, however I wanted to highlight the excellent service of Dino Halilovic in the Reservation Department. Impeccable service!

Excellent experience, everything well organised with very nice guides. Very easy to contact the agency to ask any doubts. I recommend the sunset tour and the hiking, another way to know Meteora.

Meteora portion of trip was good although admittedly it did feel like the price was high for what we got (it was 230/pp without hotel while a day trip to meteora is currently 59/pp). Transfer to Delphi was another story and why my rating was so low. The two of us were transfered with another couple in a 5 seater car so it was a tight squeeze. Unlike the rest of the trip, the driver spoke very little English so the stop in Thermoplye was pointless beyond a bathroom trip as nothing was explained. Additionally, despite the listing saying we would be told where in Delphi we could leave our items, the place they wanted was closed (extremely unprofessional for them not to check ahead of time if its something they say they will do) so we were dropped off with our luggage at the delphi site with no info on what to do with our things. The driver just smiled politely when i asked what to do with our things and left. In the rain. I emailed the office for visit meteora and got a nonchalant response about how yeah sometimes things are closed at this time of year and I could lug my stuff back to town 10 minutes in the rain and ask around at certain restaurants to see if they could watch my things... additionally the bus stop the non english speaking driver pointed us to was the wrong direction and if we had not asked others we might have missed our bus.

Excellent accommodation and transfers. Failures in the program and in the sending of documents of the organization. If you want a tour in Spanish look for another alternative.

So glad we booked this trip. The Visit Meteora team where exceptional in setting out the itinerary, seamless pick ups and drop offs in very comfortable vehicles, great accommodation (Stone Forest in Kastraki) brilliant Meteora guides (Vangelis and Andreas were really engaging, humorous and knowledgeable), remarkable views which our guides stopped at and fascinating to explore the monasteries. Great to stop off at Thermopylae en route to Delphi: somewhere we’ve wanted to visit for years and absolutely loved it. It inspired a couple of poems: Meteora Ancient sediment fractured and eroded Shifting millennia of columns decoded Alien elephants suspended in air Pedestals of wonder whispering prayer Olympian torches thrust into the ground Tipped by roofs’ red glow crowns Sandstone arms reaching to the sky At the fringes of Elysian’s quiet reply Titans petrified by Zeus Home to spiritual recluse Once each eyrie had a nest Six remain to stand the test To achieve the impossible against all odds Above common ground closer to god Wedded to their ceaseless vocation At the hem of heaven’s lofty location …….. Delphi Zeus sent two eagles from Mount Olympus Flew until they crossed above the omphalos Grandmother earth’s sacred navel Gaia’s centre and Delphi’s cradle Apollo’s dolphin form to discard He slew the ancient serpent guard The vapours from its rotting form Filled the Pythian Oracle to inform A sanctuary drew polis and pilgrims from afar Treasuries, offerings, wisdom from a rising star Unity through diplomacy, festivals and games Oh that our world could share these aims
