What To Expect
Explore your medieval route with our 30 minute Archery Experience! During this 30 minute session, you will be taught the perfect technique to shoot your bow and arrow and be given plenty of opportunity to practice, before engaging in some (friendly) competition. Perfect for an alternative date night, birthday celebration, stag or hen do, or just a day out with the family! Our trained instructors will guide you through the process, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed and offering tips on how to improve your form. Plus, our engaging and energetic staff will keep the energy level high with music and fun competitions. Axe Throwing is the perfect all-weather choice for ages 7 and up. *Please note our ranges are currently not accessible for wheelchair users.

5.00Great experience. Archery, air riffle shooting, axe throwing and climbing all in one place that serves food and has a friendly atmosphere. The staff there were so accommodating and made it all so fun. We'll definitely be going back!

5.00This was the best activity I’ve done in ages,listed as target sports on the website but not listed here,visited with my partner for axe throwing,air rifle and archery.Very well organised and felt very safe and in good hands with our instructor,had a great laugh.Very easy location to find and plenty of parking right next to the river which is beautiful,we will be back for sure 😃 thanks so much for a fun day

5.00What a brilliant hour and half doing axe throwing, Archery and rifle shooting as part of a hen do. Eleanor was a great instructor and they were so accommodating, changing our time to an earlier time with out a problem. Definitely recommended.

5.00BEN H who was our instructor for the pizza and 90 minute archery, axe throwing and rifle shooting was really fab at his job, ( just an observation my husband who does shooting said when people stop shooting break the air rifles open as it is safer. Even though Ben did check there all safe ) Ben who was our instructor for the canoeing on Friday was very informative and the lady who was with him sadly did not get her name was lovely too ( glad the dogs made you smile ) Highly recommended had a fantastic time and would definately visit again thankyou 😊

5.00We took the under under 13 football team 16 in total and did the 90min multi target sports and had a great time followed by pizza, the activity was run by Rich and Tom who were great with the kids knowledgeable and kept the whole team engaged and safe the whole time thank you.

5.00Arrived with friends for a 90 minute session of axe throwing, archery and shooting. Weather was terrible when we arrived, the car park full of puddles to get through, but the activities are indoors so not a problem. Waited for the session to start, there were three of us, and we were waiting for another party of three to join us. There's a seating area to hang about in, with a big screen near the entrance that was showing Indy car racing. Adam, our instructor, took us up to the ranges. First was axe throwing. Adam showed us the basic technique then let us go. There are four 'lanes' with two targets in each, which meant that me and my two friends could throw next to each other and the family who joined us could stay together too. Every 5 mins or so, Adam would show us another throwing technique to try until the time was up. Next was archery. There are four stations with one large screen that targets are projected onto. There's a traditional archery target, balloons, minions and zombies to shoot at. This time, we had to take turns with the other group, three on, three off. Shooting was last, air rifles with pellets. After a quick safety and instruction briefing, we spent the whole half hour shooting a variety of metal targets dotted around the room. There were about 8 gun stations, so we all did this at the same time. For the last 5 mins, Adam put a paper target out that you can take home. We paid £25 each for a 90 minute session and really enjoyed it. Would go again.

2.00Underwhelming archery experience. Attended with 3 adults and 2 teenagers put with another group of 4 without consultation. This meant we took turns so only effectively had 15 minutes shooting. Also one of the bows we were given had issues with it notching arrows and had to aim well off the target to have any chance of hitting. This is the second time we came here after a brilliant time previously. But will go with another organiser next team. Table football was good so lifted the experience by 1 star.
