Our guide will welcome you at the airport and we continue the tour to Minangkabau Documentation and Information Center (PDIKM) in Padang Panjang. After that having lunch at local restaurant and continue our Tour to Batusangkar to see the Bull Race (If the tour starts on Saturday) and then Harau Valley.

After breakfast at 9 am, get ready to do a trekking in Harau. Lunch will be prepared in the middle of the jungle or at local people house. Going back with the motorcycle or called Becak (Tok-Tok). Afternoon relax while having coffee or tea at Abdi Homestay.

Check out and leave for Bukittinggi to see Raflesia Arnoldi Flower in Batang Palupuah (if it’s blooming). The, we will go to Lawang Top and see the process of making Brown Sugar by traditional way. Dinner and check in the Homestay.

After breakfast we leave for Bukittinggi. Then visit Taruko Village and if still have enough time we go to Tarditional Market in Pasar Bawah. Then, see the process of making Minang Pancake. After lunch we will be heading to the Airport and tour ends.

Rich immersion in Minangkabau land and culture

5.00Enjoyed a 4-days immersion in Minangkabau region guided by a great team. From an ideally located home-stay at the foot of what looks like a 100m high waterfall to a trek in a contrasted stunning landscapes - rice paddies, huge granite cliffs - in the valley neighbouring Harau valley to an authentic home cooked meal at one of the guides grandma’s house, we never stopped to be amazed. The care and flexibility received by our guides brought the experience to another level so we could enjoy each discovery of Minang customs (Adat): talempong and rythmic Minang danse, bull race in rice fields, pencak silat (local martial art) and tari piring show, silver ornaments, songket, embroidery, there is so much to see. The highlands around Bukittinggi and Padang have a lot to offer and climate is nice up there. On the last day we even got to see the Marapi volcano act out and cloud the sky with its ashes making the view an unforgettable one! Don’t hesitate. This is a real experience of Indonesian culture in a tightly organised tour.

5.00Our one group (12 people) went tour to Rznah Minang using the Agent Minangkabau Adventures Tour. The servants were very satisfied as well as the gentleness of their guides in explaining about Minangkabau culture. Recommended deh basically.
