Suzanne was an exceptional tour guide. Bringing us to three lovely wineries and sharing Waiheke history along the way. Would definitely recommend!

Jojo our guide was great. Stated itinerary listed three vineyards for tasting — Batch, Stony Ridge and Mudbrick. We only got two tastings — Batch and Postage Stamp. Batch was great, Postage Stamp was inferior wines. While we were dropped off at Mudbrick for dinner, there was no wine tasting there. Disappointing to pay for 3 tastings but only get two, and an inferior tasting was substituted in. We were expecting more. Jojo our guide was nice, personable and didn’t have control of the schedule. I wouldn’t go again unless I had them confirm to me in advance exactly what we were going to get. I assumed, wrongly, that the itinerary given at registration would be honored.

Susan was absolutely lovely and wonderful in sharing her knowledge as a sommelier and as a resident of Waiheke Island. She planned a great itinerary which included The Batch, The Postage Stamp and Mudbrick Vineyard. She obviously had great working relationships with the winery employees and made sure we saw all the beautiful sites at each location and had enough time to enjoy the wine tastings and dinner at Mudbrick. She was wonderful to chat with and just a lovely person. We were so glad to get her insights into the wine, life in New Zealand and Waiheke Island, and just to learn from all the amazing things she’s done.

Graeme was the BEST tour guide! Amazing knowledge of the island, and all of the wineries — and clearly he was a favorite of so many of the winery hosts as well! The three wineries we visited were fabulous, and so welcoming! We were hugging Sharon, the host at Postage Stamp Winery, goodbye after getting to chat with her for maybe 30 minutes! 10/10!

Suzanne met us at the ferry and was an amazing guide, sharing cool tidbits about life on Waiheke in addition to the broader history of the island and the Auckland area. Even though we had a rainy day she ensured we saw all the sights.

We decided to join family members on this excursion at the last minute and we do not regret our decision! Our guide, Susan, knows her beautiful island and her wines. As she drove the 6 us to each winery (we visited 3), we learned about the special climate of Waiheke and the grapes that created the wines we were about to taste. The first two tastings consisted of four wines; the last place had a fine restaurant that provided our group with a complimentary glass of their wine with our purchased meal. Everyone in our party agreed this was a great way to start our visit to New Zealand!

We had a fantastic day exploring the coastline with our friendly tour guide. The beach drive was breezy and beautiful, with just the right pauses to snap photos and feel the sea breeze. Graeme knowledge and warm personality made everyone feel at ease, and his tips for the best photo spots and hidden gems were spot on. The wine tasting was a delightful highlight. We visited a charming winery, learned about the area’s varietals, and tasted a range of wines that perfectly complemented the local scenery. Graeme patiently explained tasting notes and helped us pick our favorites. Sightseeing was well-paced and engaging. We visited scenic viewpoints, historic landmarks, and quaint neighborhoods, with lively anecdotes and useful safety tips. The day balanced relaxation, learning, and light adventures, making it enjoyable for both first-time visitors and returning guests. Overall, the guide made the experience memorable with his friendliness, enthusiasm, and thoughtful guidance. Highly recommended for a relaxed, enjoyable coastal tour, wine tasting and delicious meal.

Our tour guide, JoJo, was outstanding. We caught an earlier ferry to the island, and he met us to show us several beautiful beaches in addition to the vineyards. The vineyards he chose and the vistas were exceptional. I highly recommend this tour.

Mathieu was a wonderful guide and so great to spend the afternoon with. The wineries we went to were all beautiful and Mathieu was able to add in so much information about the local area. He stopped at many viewpoints for photo ops, and took pictures that he sent to us. A great day, I would do it again.
