Amazing trek! Our guide Robin was very knowledgable. He showed us a lot of plants for seasoning and medicinal use. He is a very friendly person that stopped and talked with the villagers and seemed to know everyone. He always made sure the pace was good and we took breaks. The food was incredible and the homestays in the villages were a great experience!

After contacting a few different agencies we decided upon Rohit's company for our trek. The price for a private trek for 2 of us was cheaper than a group trek with another company on a more touristy route. Rohit was quick to reply to our questions and even surprised us by meeting us at the bus stop on our arrival from Bagan and walked us to our hotel. Our guide was Khan, he was friendly, helpful, always smiling and went out of his way to ensure we had a good time. Both Khan and Rohit went above and beyond our expectations. The scenery was stunning and for the most part we rarely saw any other trekkers. We had one night in a lovely home stay and the food was excellent. The second night was in a monastery which was more basic but still great to experience. As we trekked with Rohit we had a seperate building with only guests from his company. The rest of the tourists (approx 30) all had to sleep in one room so we were very lucky. We thoroughly enjoyed the trek and Rohit was there to meet us at the end where we enjoyed a meal with other trekkers using Rohit's company. We enjoyed the boat ride at the end across Kalaw lake and Khan even walked us to our hotel. We got to meet locals on the way and Khan would always stop to chat to them and we were given free green tea and strawberries which was a lovely touch. We cannot recommend Rohit and Khan enough, thanks!

These 3 days of trekking in the Burmese countryside were incredible. Beautiful scenery, a deep dive into the local peasant world, and a really acceptable temperature for a month of March. I would like to highly recommend Rohit and our guide Oscar for making us live these moments of rare authenticity. A perfect knowledge of the region (travels taken very little), an exceptional kindness and an impeccable English make this guide the strong asset of this trek. Yabi

We chose this agency a bit by chance and what a success!!! The 3-day kalaw - inle trekk is top! Rohit comes the day before you give all the necessary information. The circuit is great, the scenery is crazy, the nights at home are rewarding, the food is very good... finally everything is done for the experience to be very good! We were only 2 people: trekk ViP:) We were lucky to have MarMar as a guide, he was fabulous: he knows every corner of this place, we met almost 0 tourists (except in some food places). He's thoughtful and has good English. This trekk was for us an incredible experience (human and sporty) Go on!

From the moment I met Rohit, I new he would be our guide. Came to our hotel to explain the route, where we would break, where we would sleep etc. Had a detailed map explaining the details of the trek. Had an excellant cook who transported our baggage from guest house to guest house. He also transported all the food for the trek. The food was absolutly delicious. Superb cooking. All in all was an absolute fantastic trek with a very knowlagable young man. We were only myself and my wife for the trek and met another another guide who works for Rohit on the way. Even arriving at the final destination (Inle lake) we were taken cared of until arrival at our hotel Would suggest anyone going to Kalaw to hire Rohit Trekking outfit for a one,two or three day trek. My opinion 5/5

Like the saying says “ Small is beautiful “ We spent a whole day trekking and exchanging on different subjects like how these people live, what their customs are and history of Kalaw. The owner is very professional and proactive. Lunch was delicious with a delightful scenery. Definitely without any doubts we recommend this organization to all. Hope to be back in Kalaw soon. We did the 3 day trek with Rohit from Kalaw to Inle Lake. He took us through fields and forests, through villages and breathtaking landscapes. We stayed in authentic homestays and ate delicious meals. Above all we enjoyed Rohit's good nature and kindness We'll never forget the experience!

A small team of guides who all seem as nice and pleasant as each other. The 3 days and 2 nights trek is really great!! The landscapes are beautiful, you really discover the countryside of Myanmar and its people. We are almost disappointed to arrive at Lac inle. In short a great trek with great guides!! To do absolutely if you pass by! Only downside: the boat at the end of the trek which takes you through some shops / tourist catchers that we will do without.

Jan 30th, 2020 Mingalaba! So we are two Canadians who where highly recommended Rohit Kalaw Trekking from backpacker friends! After meeting Robit prior to the treck, we immediately knew that he should be our guide ... well versed in English, great interpersonal skills, easy going, incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the various ethnic groups found in the region. At all times he was able to respond in great details to all the questions that we asked about the people, the culture, the values and the environment. Best of all, we always had time to enjoy the environment. He served as our interpreter with the locals and he made sure to take care of all our needs! We are so happy to have spent these three days with him, not to mention that we laughed so much along the trails!
