Arif the owner was great. He got in touch as soon as we'd booked to find out our flights, dietary requirements etc..and when our flight was cancelled, he was very accommodating and managed to shift things around to take account of our delayed arrival. The guide Nikita was a real sweetie, full of enthusiasm. We had a full schedule over the 3 days and 3 nights but every moment was priceless. The accommodation is fairly basic but fine. The food was amazing and plenteous from the talented Ibah. The boat was steered by the masterly Isul and Hendrik kept the boat slick and span for the duration of the trip. The stars of the show were the orangutans who didn't disappoint! Would definitely recommend this trip!

Amazing experience, great crew, delicious food, clean spacious boat. We had 4D3N package for 2. Nothing was a problem, communication was smooth, transfers, pick up and drop off planned according to our flights. Overall top tier experience, highly recommended.

What about the stay except that everything was perfectly organized and that all the team members were great. Our guide Theo struggled to find animals, gave us lots of information about local wildlife and culture. Our cooker was a real cordon bleu and everything was excellent, when to the captain and his assistant they were the masters of the maneuver and ensured us a safe stay. Thank you all and highly recommend!

Suitable for all adults. Very obliging staff who didn’t falter with my mobility issues. Very knowledgeable guide, who was passionate about his surroundings and sharing all with us. An amazing experience.

Extraordinary! By far one of the best experiences I have had on a holiday and was so upset to leave. I was a little worried booking direct as everything was done through sporadic WhatsApp messages with a bank transfer paid direct however when you arrive at the airport their professionalism takes over and all your worldly worries are whisked away for duration you are with them. The crew and guide make you feel so special, ensuring all your needs are met before you even think about them. The food Julia cooked up was amazing although I did have to tell her 'no more food' as I had never been fed quite so much. My guide for the 3 days Ghu (not sure of his whole name) was an amazing lad, so knowledgeable and willing to share personal experiences which enhanced the whole trip. Between Ghu and the crew we saw so many wild Orangutan, probiscus monkeys, long tails and even silver langhur. Birds and crocodiles were plentyful. This may not be the cheapest experience you will do but it is truly worth every penny and will live on in my memories forever.

WOW! What can I say. Perfect in every way. I cried tears of joy. This tour is so well put together- we saw over 40 orangutans over the 4 days at the feeding stations but also in the trees during our river cruise. This trip was made by our guide Jeff. He was extraordinary. He is so intelligent and has so much knowledge about the jungle and the orungutans. He has incredible eyesight and could spot a bird from a way away. He knows all the cries... we saw Hornbills, a very rare storm stork, babblers, dollarbirds, sunbirds, bulbuls, kingfishers (many many kingfishers!), an owl, hawk, teller birds, and more. It was a birders paradise. I cannot recommend Jeff more highly. What a wonderful guide. Other incredible moments were canoeing down a river and a troop of proboscis monkeys jumped through the jungle beside us. We had expected to slum it in the jungle. We were treated like kings and queens. The food (Tarmi - what a cook) was exceptional. Varied, all vegetarian for us. We tried local delicacies, interesting fruits we'd never had before and the food kept coming. I ate so much! The klotok was enormous, clean, open and romantic. We had candle lit dinners, sat out on the viewing deck looking at animals as we sailed past and lay on the deck looking up at the most incredible stars. Our captain Anung and deck hand Gilang looked after us so well. They were also keen animal spotters and Crocodile Hunter Gilang spotted 2 crocs in the water! It was honestly the greatest 4 days of our lives. We've waited a long time to see orungutans in the wild. It was my partners dream since he was a little boy. And this exceeded our expectations in every way. Thanks to to the exceptional ground staff making it so easy.

That was almost perfect. From the first contact, we knew we were right here. Communication was always good and transparent. As a result, everything worked out great in advance. And then these great and nice people. From the arrival at the airport and in Kumai to the four days on the boat to the end of the tour. The boat was great. You have everything you need. It is clean and you have more privacy than you could imagine. The food was always delicious, fresh and varied. The crew just pays attention to everything. The way nature is treated and the way the trip takes place is incredibly good. You're not pushed into anything and you don't have to play a fixed program. We have seen everything you could wish for and imagine here. An unforgettable experience. Thanks. 🙏🏼

Wow, just wow :) I cannot recommend this orangutan boat tour more. We did the 3N/4D experience, and everything was perfect from start to finish. Our guide Vera was absolutely incredible— she had amazing energy, knowledge, and personality. We would frequently play card games or dance Zumba together in the evenings after a full day, and she genuinely made the already incredible experience even better :) We got to see 37 wild orangutans, and some of our highlights were the feeding stations, the jungle trekking (spotting cobras, pythons, spiders, crocodiles, proboscis monkeys, and more), and time spent with the crew on board. We were two female travellers, and we felt very safe and cared for. Additionally, we are vegan and the crew was able to accommodate us extremely well (delicious food every meal)! Thank you to our captain Jedi, our deckhand Ijul, and our chef Ijum. Additionally, we really appreciated how responsive and helpful Dessi was to communicate with— when our flight got cancelled, she gave us a heads up and helped us find a new flight to book. Can’t wait to return to the jungles of Borneo, 10/10 experience. If you are thinking to do this tour, do it :)🦧

I highly recommend this trip. It’s a great for photography as there is plenty of space on the klotuk (riverboat) to keep your camera at the ready while you relax and watch the reflections of ancient plants in the river or study it for the snouts of patient crocodiles. I saw more than twenty orangutans, not just at feeding stations but in the trees and swinging between them as well as on the foot trail. Along the river were dozens and dozens of proboscis monkeys, an alpha and his harem of females and kids, plus the rival group of bachelor males vying for their opportunity at procreation. Long tailed macaques brewed up trouble with their playful antics, one made off with our bananas by leaping to the river and swimming across to the other side. A lonely charismatic white cheeked gibbon swung through the trees like a child’s toy. Many birds are visible, lots of kingfisher species and storks and croaking hornbills and other technicolor dream coat varieties flying and singing overhead. The boat is comfortable, much like a house, with plenty of space to store your stuff and a comfy bed to sleep on with a mosquito net. There is your knowledgeable guide, a helpful deck hand, the skilled captain and the cook who made three wonderful meals a day. (Guide Vera, Cook Ira ,Capt Dedet, Boat assistant Agus) They make sure you are very well taken care of. We did short treks (about two hours each) during the day to see animals and plants like pitcher plants or fungi or local medicinal plants, plenty of cool insects, the most colorful and varied butterflies you’re likely to see anywhere, truly kaleidoscopic, giant ants matching, industrious termites, and moths. At night we trek hunted for nocturnal species and found frogs, lizards, spiders and mouse deer. The ammoniac whispers of the nocturnal tarsiers were everywhere. Only the creator who fashioned this rainforest and its denizens via evolution knows what is was truly like over the last hundred million years. But floating along the tea black river will at least give you glimpse of the forgotten eons of time, like shaking the hand of a centenarian and looking into their ancient eyes. Dylan

This activity was amazing and I would strongly recommend the 4 over 3 day itinerary. We were collected from the airport by our guide for the trip Ana who was great throughout. She really made our trip special. Her and the rest of the boat crew were very friendly and knowledgeable about the wildlife we saw and the local areas. Furthermore they were committed to make sure we got the best out of the experience, at one point even getting involved in clearing a blockage in the river to ensure we could see all parts of the trip they had planned. In addition the the obvious highlight of the tour, seeing plenty of Orangutans, we also got to experience extras that the team had planned that we were not expecting. These included various activities with rangers and people from the local village. From talking with the owners of the company at the end of our trip it was clear that on top of running the business they wanted to ensure that the local community also benefited from tourists visiting the areas. Overall a great experience that I could not recommend enough. A special thank you to Ana
