You will be collected up from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and driven to Dumela Tented Camp, where you will check in to your glamping site at 14:00. After some time to relax and enjoy the facilities, you will depart at 15:00 for a 3-hour afternoon sunset game drive in the Greater Kruger Blue Canyon in an open safari vehicle. You’ll get to see some of the park’s most famous animals, such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes, before returning to camp about 19:00 for a great boma fire lunch and a tranquil night under the stars.

Wake up early in preparation for your full-day Kruger adventure. The exact departure times will be communicated to you the night before as it will be decided according to animal activity at the time to give you the best opportunity for game viewing. Your safari in Kruger will last about 7 to 8 hours, during which you will venture deep into the Orpen-Satara area, where your chances of seeing lions are better than anywhere else in the park. You will return to the camp with ample time to unwind and get ready for a starlit dinner around the fire.

You’ll wake up early to be ready for a full-day safari into Kruger National Park while predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas are still active and get to view the sunrise over the park, which is a spectacular sight. Your day may proceed in one of two ways: an early departure for Kruger National Park with a bush breakfast along the route and an earlier return, or having breakfast at the lodge first, departing and returning later. The exact departure times will be communicated to you the night before as it will be decided according to animal activity at the time to give you the best opportunity for game viewing. Your Kruger Park safari will last 7 to 8 hours, so you should be back at the camp with plenty of time to relax by the fire before dinner.

A Memorable Safari with Mo Afrika

5.00My trip went very well and everything is in order. On the first day, Terrance guided us through an incredible scene with cheetahs hunting impalas. The way he described everything made it feel like I was watching National Geographic right in front of our group as he was also driving the vehicle. Our driver to Kruger was also great. I forgot his name, but he was very professional. He stopped every time we spotted an animal and explained what we were looking at. It felt like a relaxed, interactive learning experience out in the wild. My experience included a day trip to the 3 Rondavels and surrounding area. It was a great experience. I also really enjoyed staying in the tent. It was comfortable, peaceful, and added to the whole trip. Overall, it was a great experience and I appreciate everyone who made it smooth and enjoyable. Everyone is very professional and friendly. I would gladly recommend Mo Afrika.

5.00We had an amazing experience at Kruger, and everything was very well organized from start to finish. We stayed at Dumela, the tent was very comfortable and looked like a hotel room. We had minor problems with the tent, but the on-site manager was very supportive trying to do the best for us. I would like to give a special thank-you to Ruben, who arranged everything for us, and to Ien, the lodge manager, who made sure our stay was as perfect as possible. We were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, and every single game drive was excellent. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made each day unforgettable. Highly recommended!

5.00It was an amazing safari experience! I booked the 4 days and 3 nights and would recommend it highly. The Kruger Blue Canyon safari is beautiful with some off road in open car! We saw girafes, elephants, rhinos, cheetahs and lionesses. At the Kruger National Park we saw more giraffes and elephants! Above all we saw a group of 4 lions and later on a leopard!! Our guide Evans was super interesting giving us all the details on the animals and making sure we wouldn’t miss any animal spotted in the park. I would also highly recommend the Panorama Route tour, the views are breathtaking and our guide Lambs was great giving us lots of history on the different places! Big 5 stars for the staff also at Dumela Camp, they are extremely nice and always available for the guests (extra point for super clean rooms)!

5.00I have an amazing 3 day in Kruger Park with an amazing guides.I can't tell enough how is Erinc. My last day was incredible with him. He is so attentive and eager to tell about the animals. He do effort much to show us the Big Five and other animals. I finish the tour with lots of joy and memory. Thank you very much Erinc and MoAfrika

5.00Our 4 day experience at Dumela Tented Camp was both comfortable and affordable. As an older couple we were very happy in our en-suited tent with air conditioning. The meals were simple but tasty and we loved sitting around the fire chatting with other guests. Ian and Licia who manage the camp were always available to answer any questions we had. We were very happy with the activities provided. The sunset game drive was great, the day in Kruger allowed us to see the expanse of this National park, the Panorama route is a must such beautiful scenery and we added the sunrise drive to our package which was a great way to finish off our South African adventure. We did see the big 5 including the wild dogs. Gift our guide and Terence our driver for our last drive were both knowledgeable and diligent in finding the animals. Can highly recommend Dumela and MoAfrika.

5.00The camp was brilliant, obviously loved falling alseep to the sound of the animals! The staff were fantastic, I was the only guest for 2 out of my 3 nights but never felt alone or like the only guest. Absolutely loved the camp fire and marshmallows in the evenings.

5.00I booked the Kruger 3n/4d tour from Cape Town. The person I dealt with mostly was Rishen. He was very responsive and helpful. An excellent communicator. Thank you Rishen! As it is a budget tour, we stayed at Dumela Tented Camp. It was comfortable and clean, with a large bed, air cond, and attached bathroom. In the night, dinner was around a camp fire. The food was simple (do not expect a full buffet) but very tasty. The camp is inside a private game reserve, so we could see impalas walking by and hear the hyenas in the night. And on a clear night, the stars above. The safari rides were in jeeps, once in a private game reserve, and a full day in Kruger. We saw most of the wildlife we set out to see, so we were happy. Although as I have experienced safaris in Kenya, I found the Kenyan guides more knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife compared to the ones around Kruger (I felt it was more commercialized in Kruger). Do not miss out the panorama tour as the views were fantastic. Here, I would like to recommend Eddy the Happy Chappy as your driver and guide, as he is an absolute great company. Overall, this tour is of great value and we got to meet some really nice guests as well. Thank you MoAfrika for a wonderful holiday!

5.00Service was amazing. Felt like 2 days of full-day kruger is a bit too much, opted for the panorama ruote Option ínstead and added a sunrise drive (sunrise and sunset are the best to see animals). Special appreciation for the sekekama chef (dinners were incredible) and to all drivers and staff.
