Breakfast. In the morning transfer to Antigua Guatemala where we will take a three hours walking tour through this Colonial city, declared Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will visit the main attractions such as the Central Plaza, Cathedral, Church of La Merced, Arco de Santa Catalina and Tanque La Union, as well as a Jade Factory, at the end transfer to Guatemala City.
In the afternoon we will visit the outside of the National Palace, Central Park, the Cathedral, the Central Market and the main avenues of the city.

Breakfast. In the morning, visit to Chichicastenango to enjoy the wonderful and colorful open-air market, considered one of the largest in Latin America, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the Church of Santo Tomas. Time for lunch (Not included). Then we transfer to Atitlán Lake, Panajachel for a panoramic visit to the shores of the lake. At the end transfer to Guatemala City.

4.00Communication could have been improved and there were some organizational road bumps, but eventually all the bookings came through! The accommodations were lovely, but the guide was superb! Shoutout to Adolfo - he was so wonderful and struck a great balance between history, fun, culture, shopping. Plus, the ease of transport was great - I can't imagine that we would have seen as much without a guide who could navigate the markets and show us the best scenic views.
