We arrived in Siem Reap late in the day and wanted to book a tour guide for the next day so we could get started exploring the ruins of Angkor. Our worry was that no tour company would email us back so late in the day. I reached out to Hidden Angkor Tour and Ms. Theavy she responded almost immediately to set up a tour with one of his guides for the next morning. Our tour guide was Mr. Veasna who showed up at our hotel right at the time we agreed on with a driver in an (air-conditioned) Lexus SUV. We opted for the 2 day tour which covers the main temples of Angkor and quite a bit of time at each one. Veasna was a great guide, he's extremely knowledgeable about the history of the ruins and the various stories surrounding them. Also, he's very enthusiastic about what he does, you can tell he genuinely enjoys showing tourists around the sites and is actually interested in the history of Cambodia. I tend to ask a lot of questions while on these types of tours and Veasna was always able to answer. The other great part of this tour was that the driver was always exactly where we needed him to be when we were done exploring a temple and after getting back into the car he would provide us with cold water and a cold towel to refresh ourselves after being in the heat. I would definitely recommend going with Hidden Angkor Tours if you're looking for a guide!

I emailed Hidden Angkor Tour only about 4 days before I wanted the tour to start as having looked at what the various companies offered, the itinerary of the 4 day tour seemed perfect for our group of friends of 4, Mr. Thavin from Hidden Angkor Tour emailed back straight away and after a brief email exchange it was all booked for a private air conditioned mini van with a driver and guide. On the 1st day we were met by Mr Vandy the driver and Mr Buntheun, the guide and in fact we had a minibus with lots of space which was even better, over the next 3 days they took us everywhere, we covered all the major sites of the small circuit and the big circuit and outlying temples such as the rolous group and beng mealea, also up to kulen mountain, on the last day we went for a boat ride on tonle sap, and to visit various other places. At all times they kept us fully supplied with water, recommended us to good restaurants, T kept us well informed and we built up a good relationship, I was genuinely sad when the tour finished. Everything would have been really difficult if we had tried to do this on our own, local knowledge counts for so much. Hidden Angkor Tour made the whole thing easy, special thanks to Thavin, Mr Vandy and Buntheun, highly recommended

We had such an amazing time! Cannot say enough good things about Angkor or our guide Buntheun! He spoke very clear and fluent English, and knew all about the city, temples, and history, so he was able to give us lots of great information and stories. The best parts of our trip were thanks to Mr. Buntheun, who took us to eat some "unique" food at a local restaurant, and arranged for us to visit Angkor Organization of Education (AoE), an extremely low-cost school for local children who could not otherwise afford to get an education. There, we got to meet and talk with the wonderful teachers, staff, and inspirational children. It was a life-changing experience that we would not have even known about if Buntheun had not arranged our visit. We would highly recommend Mr Buntheun to take you around Siem Reap! We love Cambodia!!

We spent four day in Siem Reap with my university colleges and had such an amazing time! Hidden Angkor Tours and our tour guide, Buntheun together made my trip incredible!! 10/10 recommend. Buntheun accompanied us and guided us the whole trip. His expertise and knowledge on the history and culture of Cambodia was very cool to hear firsthand. He really shared great information and insight on the ins and outs of everything. I always felt so safe and well equipped going around town. The trip was well scheduled and managed by Buntheun and I have to say I had an incredibly special experience and I can’t wait to come back and reserve our Buntheun for the next trip!!
