Wild Tasmania at its best!! We saw echidnas, wombats, wallabies, quolls, kangaroos, pademelons, scorpions, incredible birdlife… and even the elusive platypus! 🦘🐧 Snow & sunshine, ocean swims, stargazing and the AURORA AUSTRALIS 🌌✨🔭 Log cabins, fires, toasted marshmallows, vineyards, wild landscapes, mountain hikes and waterfalls 🏔️ It was an epic adventure from start to finish! Huge shout-out to the best tour guide, Tim, who was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. He answered all our questions and shared so many fascinating facts — his passion really brought Tasmania to life! Thanks again @wildtasmaniatours for making our holiday so unforgettable!

I was initially hesitant about joining a bus tour, but this experience completely changed my mind. Tim was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, personable, and full of humor—which made every part of the journey engaging and enjoyable. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the chance to spot Tasmania’s unique wildlife, and he offered a great variety of walks and hikes to suit all fitness levels. Thanks to Tim, it was a truly wonderful and memorable vacation!

Tim was a well organised and good humoured tour guide - he made our trip very interesting and fun. We enjoyed picturesque walks of various lengths which could be tailored to all abilities, and we encountered all the native fauna and flora we had hoped for. Accommodation and food options were perfect. We feel we have experienced many aspects of beautiful Tassie. Thank you Tim.

An amazing experience! Our guide Tim was personable, energetic, and knowledgeable. As he drove he told engaging stories that gave context to the places we saw. At each stop he guided us to find the best views, and he was exceptional at spotting wildlife, the primary reason for our visit. We had to leave the four day tour early due to our flight plans, so while the rest of the group had a full day with Tim, Trent picked us up at Craggy Peaks to get us back to Hobart. On the way he took us to lunch in Ross and gave us time to visit the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Since we still had a few hours before our flight he brought us to the Hobart waterfront where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Pearl & Co. before heading to the airport. The entire tour was very well planned to maximize opportunities for great experiences while minimizing lengthy drives between stops. We could not have asked for a better tour.

  • 4 day small group tour to see the highlights of Tasmania.

A well thought out tour catering to different activity levels and amazing places to stay each night. Our guides, Trent and Tim, were fantastic, caring and very knowledgeable hosts. Their passion for what they do shone through in everything. Loved every minute and would happily have spent more time in each place we visited. Seems stingy to only give 5 stars - they deserve 10 stars!

The trip was a terrific sampler of Tasmania. It’s fast paced and well thought out. Trent made sure everyone had a great time and geared activities to varying ability levels. There were many highlights on the trip: wildlife, including a wonderful wildlife sanctuary visit and penguins; beautiful landscapes, Bay of Fires was amazing as was a walk around Dove Lake at Cradle Mountain; and special accommodations. The best part, though, was Trent’s passion for Tasmania and his care for all of us. His business partner, Tim, was amazing as well. The two complemented each other and made our trip truly memorable. I Highly recommend this Tour, especially for people who are short on time and want to see and experience some of the most special parts & sights of Tasmania.

Great variety of experiences from beautiful hikes, luscious rolling farmlands to beach cafes wildlife centers and quaint towns. Trent and Tim are true Tassie guys. Knowledgeable and rugged!! But with a heart as they rescued a little quoll who was cold and at deaths door Trent who I named as daddy had the little quoll wrapped up in a bundle and he held him for the whole day until little T was given to a wildlife sanctuary who would nurture him it was a beautiful experience and defined the trip for me. I also love feeding the kangaroos watching the wombats tumble down the hill and breathe in the wild nature of Tasmania. Oh yes and the penguin tour was beautiful
