  • Amazing scenery, and hiking experience for solo travelers

    science1235,May 3, 2026

    - Review from Tripadvisor

    5.00

It’s an amazing experience and I would recommend to my family and friends. Before the trip, Trent patiently answered all my questions and anddressed all my concern. He even helped me book other tours in Australia. During the trip, Tim did an excellent job managing time and team. His local knowledge is incredible. He even knows how tap water tastes at each filling station and he’s very kind to offer me his last bottle of water. I can always count on his honest assessment of the trail to make the right choice. We even visited one more beach than the original plan. We were always the first to arrive at each side to avoid the crowds. The attractions they choose are very scenic and authentic. The restaurants Tim recommended are all very good. And his bbq skills are highly appreciated. The company offers multi-share lodging options, which is great for solar travelers with a limited budget. They are also very good at taking care of guests special needs. They are also very conscious about protecting the environment and the wildlife. Normally, I prefer travel independently, but this tour exceeded my expectations as I couldn’t do better on my own. I’m glad that I had a chance to support a great local business. So a huge thank you to Trent, team, and their team!

A great mix of wilderness experiences for all capabilities. Tim was a fabulous guide/driver with so much enthusiasm and energy, I can understand why he has many great reviews prior to my tour. He is just the perfect person for guiding this tour with his love for the wilderness and getting out of the cities. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He has an abundance of knowledge, what a great tour.

  • Varied tour with excellent guide

The varied tour provides a good overview of Tasmania's diverse landscapes. Our excellent guide, Tim, with his in-depth knowledge of Tasmania’s flora, fauna and history, contributed greatly to the success of the trip. He was very responsive to the wishes of the group and took them into account in the programme. Even if the weather was not good, he was able to motivate the group to hike. The accommodations were very good and the food too. I can recommend this trip to everyone in full.

This trip was amazing! Our guide knew so much! The whole trip was very well- planned! We hiked a lot, with choices of degree of difficulty. We learned about what we were seeing. We visited places with beautiful vistas. Everyone had the food options they needed, no matter what their diet. The places we stayed took care of our needs. I would take this trip again!

  • Excellent experience!

    - Review from Tripadvisor

The tour was a fantastic experience for me, and one I can’t recommend highly enough! Tim, our guide, had a truly extensive knowledge of everything to do with Tasmania – it exceeded all expectations! The group was a good mix of ages (20+ to 60+), everyone got on well together, and it was a great group experience. The accommodation was really well chosen – a far cry from the typical hostel style. Shared accommodation with single and shared rooms in large holiday homes that were well furnished, even in the middle of the Tasmanian wilderness! You could even spot wombats and wallabies from the balcony! There were always great tips for food along the way. A big thank you also goes to Tim for organising the barbecue – ‘barbie and marshies’ combined with wildlife spotting were brilliant. If you want to experience Tasmania’s national parks and endemic animals up close, and love hiking and nature, the ‘4-day Wild Tasmania tour’ can only be highly recommended!

  • Outstanding way to see the best Tasmania has to offer

    Lukovic123,Mar 19, 2026

Excellent way to see some of the best parts of Tasmania. It is expertly organised, which comes as no surprise once you get to know Tim, who has an outstanding degree of knowledge about every corner of the island and its history. Tim gets everybody involved and will always be on hand to help should any problems that arise. The most impressive parts of the trip for me were the two hikes around mt cradle and mt amos. The latter provides an excellent challenge, scrambling your way to the top under the guidance of Tim, who knows the best way to help you across every single rock, should you need it. There are also plenty of more scenic walking routes, which looked fantastic, along with giving an option for every level of experience. The accommodation was considerably better than I had realised when booking. The cabins were in some surreal locations and of great quality, which make it very hard to want to stay hostels after the trip! Overall, I would recommend the trip to anyone considering it, as long as you're prepared for some early starts! Thank you Tim and Trent!
