  We had an amazing experience with Mr. Akhil from Iris Holidays during our trip to Munnar, Alleppey, and Cochin. He was professional, punctual, and incredibly courteous throughout the journey. His driving was safe and comfortable, and he was always happy to share local insights and accommodate our plans. Thanks to him, our Kerala trip was smooth, relaxing, and truly memorable. Highly recommended!

  Great tour. Our driver apart from getting us safely through the chaos Kerala traffic was a great source of information. Great ambassador for the area. The cultural performance in Munnar was awesome. The backwater cruising was really relaxing with perfect food. Thoroughly enjoyed the small boat trip up the canals.

  Sree Shajeer was our wonderful driver. He happily accommodated all our requests to maximize our enjoyment. The Munnar cultural evening and the houseboat experience were highlights. Loved that he operated on a high trust model - we felt very safe and respected.

  We had a great time on this 4 day tour! It was a great introduction to Kerala! We saw the highlights of the region and we were wowed by its beauty! On our first day, we did a jeep safari and it was fun. Be prepared for a bumpy ride! Our driver was experienced and thank goodness for that because roads look like only one vehicle can be on it but he was able to pass other vehicles without a problem! On day two, we visited Munnar and its many tea fields and rose gardens. The scenery is just amazing! We were snapping so many photos to try and capture its essence! But photos don’t do it justice. It was cool to see the tea making process at the tea factory museum. Our third day was awesome! It was spent on a houseboat. It was a private boat so it was just my friend and me. The guys running the boat were super nice and sweet. Not to mention excellent cooks! We loved being on the boat and slowly cruising through canals and the open lake. It was nice to just sit back, relax and kick our feet up! The sunset on the canal was sublime… Our final day was spent in Cochin and there are some spectacular sites to see! We made it to the Vasco da Gama church, Chinese fishing nets, St. George Basilica, and a cruise on the lake to see mangroves and the wide variety of birds. We tried to see as much as possible before our flight to Mumbai. Thanks to our driver Sanoop, I feel like we saw the best of Cochin in the short amount of time we had. All of the wonderful things we saw and did wouldn’t be possible without our driver Sanoop! He took great care to get us from one location to the next! He’s a local so he knows the spots to highlight! He provided information at the different places we drove through that made the car rides more fascinating. If we had questions about something we saw, he would provide an answer. And Sanoop picked delicious restaurants to eat at. Our favorite was Farmyard Restaurant! If it’s important to you, Sanoop is extremely punctual! We thought we would be early for our meeting times in the morning but he was always there before us every time! We appreciated Sanoop’s flexibility. If there was something on the itinerary we weren’t keen on seeing, he pivoted and selected something else for us. That showed us he valued us as clients who didn’t want to be shuttled from place to place regardless if we had any interest in the site. All said and done, we had a wonderful experience and look forward to seeing more of Kerala in future visits.

  Sanoop was an amazing guide!! He provided us with a full experience! He drove us all over and we got to see so so much of the country! We saw all of the things listed in the guide. We took some amazing photos! The admission fees were very reasonable. The length of the visit each location was great. For the atmosphere, we felt safe and comfortable. The crowd size was not too bad. It was just the two of us in our tour. I think this tour would be great for anyone friends or couples or family that want to see the country.

  It was a great experience to visit the places in kerala. Me and my family throughly enjoyed the 4 days trip . Iris holidays helped us to travel around the places and suggested good places for sightseeing.

  Our driver Akhil was wonderful. Very conscientious and skilled driver on all the hills and winding roads. He was patient with us when we wanted to change a few sights and was prompt to pick us up and drop us off each day.

  This was a must do experience, when visiting Kerala. From pick-up at any point around Kochi, the travel to Munnar is a long drive on bustling roads, but a must do to see what Kerala is all about. Monesh, our driver, made this even better by showing us various sites and stops on the way, including brilliant food recommendations. The hotel in Munnar area was lovely, with even better food provided in the restaurant. The stops in Munnar at the tea plantations, reservoirs and trekking tours were incredible. Then came the houseboat experience on Venbanad Lake. This is a MUST DO, as it’s just beautiful. We were also given an option of an early small boat tour around the smaller backwaters, where the variety of bird life is incredible. Binoculars and a decent camera are vital! Overall, Monesh made our experience perfect. We wish him all the best and would travel back to Kerala just to see him again. Valare Nandi, friend.
