Take the “Lunatic Express” train to Mombasa arriving just to find our driver who will waiting to give a luxurious drive to South Coast in Diani. You will arrive in your hotel in Diani for Dinner and check in to spend the night there. You can also opt to spend an evening in the view of the ocean or in the Diani night life. Dinner and overnight at Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa.
DAY 2 DIANI – WASINI ISLAND

You will be picked from your hotel at around 7.15 am and drive to Wasini Island along Mombasa – Lunga Lunga highway. Arrive at Shimoni Jet where you will board an Arabic dhow and sail for one hour searching for dolphins. Sail to Kisite Marine National Park where you will snorkel and swim. Animals seen here include turtles, marine tortoise, coral reefs and different types of marine fishes. You will have your lunch at the island which is mainly sea food and Swahili dishes. After lunch, you will sail along the mangrove swamps and then visit the Wasini Island where you will learn more about the Swahili people and the Arabs history. Also there is an option of visiting the Shimoni Slave Caves. This is where slaves were "stored" before being shipped off to Arabia in the early 18th century. Arrive at the jet at around 4.00 pm thereafter drive back to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at your hotel.
DAY 3 DIANI FULL DAY ( Chale Island)

We will pick you up with glass boat in the morning after breakfast from your hotel and sail to Chale Island. Enjoy snorkeling or quiet swimming in the lagoon. From there we will drive by boat to Gazi beach for an amazing sand bath and local women boardwalk. Chale Island is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Africa for beach weddings, honeymoons, large family holidays, or for special events, exclusive business meetings. You will then have the rest of the afternoon to swim either in the pool or the beach. The picturesque shoreline is included among the best beaches in Kenya. The views on inland mangrove lakes to the West and open Indian Ocean to the East are breathtaking! It has a fine sandy beach with much sea weed witnessed every morning due to high tide. This is the true paradise for those who are looking for an escape from it all. Sail back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

5.00The tour and train ride were great. We really enjoyed our day at Wasini Island. The only thing i could say that could be improved is that the drivers have some sort of identification as to the tour company they are working for. We were picked up by guys with a handwritten card with our name and no tour company logo. There was also none on the van. To a tourist its not comfortable getting into a van with s random dude in an unmarked van. But all turned out well. The guide was very knowledgable and was fantastic with the snorkelling tour.
