Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park.

Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast of coffee, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. Later on, will follow the transfer back to Arusha city for drop off in your hotel

Really amazing experience, starting with the booking, always attentive and resolving all the doubts, it's clear how organized they are. Once we started, our guide Melita was incredible, knowing all the spots to see the different animals, he was in contact with the rangers by radio so also communicating always where to go. Also our big chef Salim, he prepared really incredible food so we always had been nourished too so well. Until the end another staff of suricata (Daniel) he came in to the hotel to see us and ask how was everything and to see if there's something to improve or change. It was an amazing Safari and suricata made it much better, being so attentive and searching the best to all the group

Suricata Safari made me fall in love with Africa, and Tanzania. Everything from when I was picked up on the airport to when I left has been so amazing that it's difficult to spell out in words. Our guide and driver Charles was very knowledgeable and made sure we saw all the big 5, most of them on several occasions. The chef Mukhucin was amazing and made some of the best and diverse food I have ever tasted. Make sure to tip them well! The camping spots were very good and most of them even had hot water for showering. I would recommend bringing some earplugs though since the animals can make quite some noise at night. We had everything from small dik-dik to elephants visiting our camps so you really get to get close to the wildlife. Also, if you are going to Ngorongoro, make sure to bring some warm clothes. The only criticism I have is that when I was going to Serengeti we were a bit late and didn't get that much out of the day, and in Ngorongoro two other people were joining our group and there was an issue with the permit which made us all very late for the crater. They did solve this in a very good way though and I was very pleased with how it all turned out. I am for sure returning to Tanzania after this experience!

We spent 4 days with Adam(tour guide and driver) and Samson (chef) for Suricata Safaris. We had a wonderful experience even with the political disturbances in Arusha ect. The company were very good at adapting in the situation and made sure we still were able to enjoy our trip. We opted for the budget camping option driving from arusha>serengetti>crater>tangeria. The tour it's self was very well organised, great campsites, hot water showers are two out of three of the camps. All the tents sleeping bags provided we of good quality. Adam was a great driver, good english, very funny. The sites we saw were amazing and we were able to see the big five and more! Our chef, Samson, cooked us an amazing array of foods through out the trip. As someone that doesn't eat beef there was still plenty of options. Our only feedback is that we wish for there to be a little bit more explanation about the animals/conservation ect. Generally it's good to be aware that there is a lot of driving particularly involved on the first day. This something we didn't really think about when booking the tour and nothing the company can do to change apart from opting for a longer trip. Thanks so much to the team!

We had the most amazing time with Suricata Safaris! We had the best chef Dius who made scrumptious and healthy meals to keep us energized. Gerald was such a wonderful and friendly guide. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable about the animals and the habitats. He made the experience so much richer by sharing with us interesting details along the way. His perfect vision allowed us to spot many animals which would otherwise be missed! Highly recommend!! 10/10 Just a heads up for people going to a safari for the first time - binoculars, zoom cameras would make the experience much more exciting. The Safari is not a zoo, while you often do get to see the animals up close, they are also often further away in the distance. Also bring a scarf/mask to help with the dust blowing into the jeep along the way.

Guys, what can I say, it’s an experience that in my opinion everyone should do at least once in their life, and Suricati Safari were really great, starting with the chef who was always ready to cook for us, and all the drivers who showed us the animals. We slept in the tents and what can I say, I thought it would be a tough experience but instead it was just amazing... and also very clean. The only downside I noticed is that in Serengeti National Park they throw away waste like glass and cans... and you can’t burn them, so that’s the only drawback. But as a tour operator, I highly recommend them, they’re excellent.

The lodge was beautiful, with great food and stunning views. Everything was well-organized and felt authentic yet comfortable. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience — highly recommend! 🦁🌍✨
