5.00First time in Henan and honestly, didn’t expect it to be this cool. Shaolin Temple – wah, the Kungfu monks really know how to put on a show, super energetic and fun to watch. Longmen Grottoes… just wow. Standing there looking at all those stone carvings, you feel so tiny compared to history. Luoyang was also nice to walk around—old streets, tasty noodles, very chill vibes. Our guide made everything easy, spoke good English, and even shared funny local stories. Hotels were comfy too, no stress at all. If you’re thinking about China beyond Beijing/Shanghai, Henan is solid. We went back with lots of stories (and food cravings 👍).
