Bua Thong Waterfalls (Nam Phu Chet Si)
This is one of the most unique. The Sticky Waterfall, also known as Bua Thong Waterfall, is a remarkable natural wonder nestled in the Namtok Bua Tong-Nam Phu Chet Si National Park, 60 kilometers north of Chiang Mai. It's unique geological composition distinguishes this waterfall from other waterfalls. The porous limestone rocks of Bua Thong possess a rare quality – they're astonishingly "sticky." Wat Rong Seur Ten (Blue Temple)
08.00 Pick up from your hotel in Chiangrai to Blue Temple. In 1996, local villagers agreed to rebuild a temple here. The purpose was to establish a devotional center for meditation, prayer and worship, as they did not have a sacred space for merit-making (earning good karma points) in their town. Construction of the viharn monastery began in October 2005 and was completed in January 2016. Other parts of the temple are still under construction today. To symbolize dharma, the Buddha’s code of morals, the temple is predominantly painted blue, which is associated with wisdom, the infinite, purity and healing. Blue is also the least “material” of all hues and speaks to the limitless heights of ascension.

We are impressed of this great tour! We are from Switzerland. Joe and the team are friendly, warmly and on time. The tour is very well organized and included good sights! We had a private tour for this price. This tour is highly recommended! This is a good way to know the north region with Joe’s experience. Furthermore we appreciate Joe’s flexibility.he made suggestions for various activities. The trip to the Elephants was emazing an unforgettable (no riding, feeding and washing the animals). Our trip to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai couldn‘t have been better. Thank you very much, Joe!!

Took this tour during a 30-day vacation in Thailand. After time in Bangkok and Koh Samui, I wanted to experience the northern region. Both guides were friendly and easy to talk to in English. Joe was the guide for 3 days. I really enjoyed how he took me to local restaurants to experience the cuisine of the region. Unfortunately the weather was rainy for the trip in the mountains; the views were obscured by clouds. The temples were all beautiful, and Joe explained the Buddhist symbolism of the art and statues. The Golden Triangle was very interesting, particularly the Opium Museum. Joe was very knowledgeable about every sight on the tour, and I feel that I learned a lot. Very glad that I took the tour.

Joe is a very responsible person. He came to pick us at our hotel on time. During the trip, he shared with us about history of Thailand and all the information about the places we visited. He was flexible about the timing and thus allowing us ample time to explore the places of interest. We appreciated Joe for accompanying us for the 4 days trip and will book his tour when we come to Chiang Mai again. Thank you Joe
