After breakfast at 7.45 am, we drive to the World famous Serengeti. Join an optional visit to Olduvai Gorge (en route), where the Leakey family made illustrious discoveries including the fossil of Homo habilis, living 1.75 million years ago. In the Serengeti, we find ourselves deep in the heart of the savannah on the famous migration corridor. And with afternoon game viewing, we have ample opportunity to discover why this land is indeed legendary.

We have another day of exploring the Serengeti National Park. With lunch boxes provided, we will go ahead with game drives throughout the afternoon in the endless plains spotting many animals and truly realizing just why this National Park is so famous. On this day you might have a change to glide a hot air balloon safari with champagne breakfast in the morning while in the air (optional). Later afternoon we drive back to the Lodge for an overnight.

Wake up early in the morning, have an early morning game drive, with an optional balloon safari, then drive back to the camp for breakfast and check out, with our picnic lunch. Have an early afternoon game drive en route to the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will reach Ngorongoro in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight at the lodge located in the slopes of the crater rim.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

This morning we have an early breakfast, pick up our lunch boxes before departure for a game drive in the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. For many, this wildlife spectacle is the pinnacle of their safari experience. The Ngorongoro Crater boasts all of the ‘Big 5’, including a small population of endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch, we proceed out of the crater rim with a game drive and then towards Arusha for drop off.

We had an absolutely amazing experience on our safari in Tanzania! The organization of the agency was impeccable from beginning to end. Our Guide was not only very professional, but also very passionate about wildlife, which made our adventure even more enriching. The landscapes were breathtaking, and we had the chance to observe a wide variety of animals in their natural habitat. Every moment of the safari exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this agency to all those who wish to live a truly unforgettable journey in the heart of Tanzanian nature!

I am not usually writing reviews, but we had such a great experience with Moraka Safari that it is with pleasure that we warmly recommend them. Latipher has been excellent at meeting all our expectations including when we faced issues with flights. Our guide was outstanding: if you need a good, experienced driver, who is fun and knows well the area, ask for Joseph: he is just outstanding and speak both French and English. This was truly an amazing trip and Moraka made a real difference!

This safari was definitely a worthwhile and memorable experience. Top-level staff and communication (Latipher is great), excellent network, 5-star organization and exceptional professionals. We visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. We saw all the big 5 and more animals than we could ever imagine. Our guide was very helpful to find and spot all the animals and attentive to all our needs and wishes. The cook was also great (Moodie). We camped for 2 nights in Serengeti and Ngorongoro in comfortable tents in true wilderness, but we never felt unsafe. I definitely recommend.
