Experience the Grand Canyon from a biblical creation perspective with Canyon Ministries.
The Sunset Rim Tour begins inside the park at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center flagpole, meeting around four hours before sunset. From there, you’ll journey along the South Rim’s east side on Desert View Drive, traveling in comfort to some of the most breathtaking overlooks and vistas.
At each stop, step out to take in stunning views, explore the surroundings, and engage in meaningful teaching. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the canyon’s geology, wildlife, and history, all framed by the biblical account of Creation and the Flood as described in Genesis.
At the end of the tour, we will close out the day with the One who made it as the sun sets far to the west over the rim.
Total tour length is variable, depending on when the sun sets that day. Plan to be back around 30 minutes after the sunset.

An An Excellent Faith Strengthening Experience!

5.0My wife and I found the strong Bible-based approach to understanding the science behind how the Grand Canyon was formed, to be very inspiring, and faith strengthening! The human interest stories about the first explorers of that region added much to help keep the attention of the children in the group, as well! And the choice location to enjoy the incredible sunset that unfolded, made for a most memorable conclusion to the very enjoyable tour!

5.0Eddy is incredibly knowledgeable on not only the science of the grand canyons formation, but also its application to Gods word. He was able to answer various questions with science and Gods word as well. This tour was definitely remarkable and memorable! Seeing the science behind Gods creation is awe inspiring. I would highly recommend this tour, our family had the best time and we were reminded of Gods gifts in our life and how he works in others!!!
