Experience Taipei the way the locals do, by bike. We start the day with a traditional Taiwanese breakfast, and then pedal around historic streets, traditional markets, grand architecture, immaculate temples, and more! Listen to fun facts from your guide about the culture and history of the city as you go. This tour is a great way to orient yourself on your first day in the city or see the sights if you only have a short time to visit.
We meet up at the Taipei Bike Works bike shop to start the tour. Please copy and paste the address below to find the shop.
The tour guide reserves the right to cancel or postpone the tour in case of extreme weather condition warnings and if there are less than 3 people total joining the tour.

5.00I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Priscilla, was very considerate, knowledgeable, and entertaining, and spoke excellent English. She took us to the most important historic buildings and treated us with tasty local food and herb tea. The change of guards ceremony at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall was fascinating to watch. This bicycle tour was the best way to explore Taipei because it covered far more areas than a walking tour. Four hour cycling was a little exhausting, but good exercise. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who can ride a bicycle. Thank you so much, Priscilla!

5.00I, along with my group of travel friends, had a wonderful time during this tour. Tony and Alex were fantastic hosts, guiding us around Taipei. Surprisingly, the breakfast part of the tour was a great experience. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00I loved the bike tour; I highly recommend. That’s exactly what I needed to appreciate the city and Taiwan’s history. Mike was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable imparting the place’s history. The breakfast was traditional Taiwanese churros (fried bread) with soy milk, fried eggs, and light crepes. By all accounts it was tasty. The bikes were in very good condition, easy to ride and because the city is flat, you won’t need e-bikes for this tour.

5.00The tour was delivered as described, satisfactory for our very first morning in Taipei. One way to enhance the experience would be to add one directional headsets for the guide to easily communicate with each participant while riding and walking in the noisy city streets.
