Our private tours are guided by knowledgable USCG licensed captains who have background in Marine biology and environmental science. We take you through some of the most unique mangrove islands and channels in search for all the native wildlife such as dolphins, manatees, crocodiles, nesting birds, and more. Our boats are equipped to go places other boats are not, such as the no combustion zones. We are located in the lower end of Islamorada allowing quick access to these mangroves islands as well as the ocean.

What To Expect

Take a tour through Islamorada with us!! Let us take you snorkeling at some of our popular reefs such as Alligator Reef Lighthouse, stop at the world famous Islamorada Sandbar, explore the many mangrove islands in the Florida Bay. While on this adventure we look for wild dolphins, manatees, crocodiles, nesting birds, turtles, sharks, and more. Learn the biology of the area and history surrounding the Florida Keys. All our tours are private so they are geared to your group. Our boat captains are very knowledgeable about the environment and wildlife. They can answer almost any question you would have about the area. We are pet friendly too!

Kristi was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about everything from the weather systems to the aquatic life. We got to snorkel and go through the mangroves We saw manatees, nursing sharks, a turtle, barracuda, and so many tropic fish at alligator reef. It was completely incredible. My husband and I also loved the privacy of the private tour, highly recommend.

Keyz Charters provides an excellent Eco and Snorkeling Boat tour. Captain Christie was thorough in her safety descriptions, stayed alert to the snorkelers and was engaging and fun in the conversation about the Florida Keys. I would highly recommend this Tour!

This was the best boat tour! We had 4 adults and 2 kids, the boat had enough space for us and all our belongings. We loved our captain, Kristy! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful! My brother-in-law and sister in law had their first experience snorkeling and Kristy shared with them what to do. There were snorkels, fins, and noodles on the boat. Kristy had one blanket, which was needed and highly appreciated 👍🏻 Kristy caught a jellyfish and let the kids touch it and shared knowledge with us about the sea life and the mangroves. She took us to looks for a baby alligator she had spotted earlier in the day as well! The snorkeling portion of the tour was full of surprises, we spotted two very large groupers and some barracudas along with large schools of fish at the lighthouse! must do!

Captain Christi showed us some beautiful places and took very good care of us. The boat is clean and has a shade. Captain was quick to spot various animals and has a lot of knowledge about the Keys. We enjoyed the tour very much.

Henry was a great guide and the whole family had a great experience. If you are interested in the history and ecology of the keys and want a fun guided snorkeling trip, it’s hard to get better than this!
