Your professional guide will pick up you at your city hotel or other downtown area at your preferred time. Upon meeting, spend few mins to discuss with your guide the places you need to visit. As exclusive private tour, your itinerary is flexible and can be 100% customized around you. Following is the sample itinerary and you are welcome to tell your guide if need make adjustment during the tour. Typically, your exclusive half day tour begins a walking along the beautiful China town "Old town" bazar, here enjoy exploring the “Qing Dynasty” ancient town, walk along nine-lucky bridge, stroll along Shanghai Old Street and appreciate the beautiful ancient Chinese architecture and colorful local arts, crafts and more. You may enjoy some fun souvenir shopping and sample best street food here.
Yu Garden
Next, pay the visit to the 500-year old Yu Garden (Closed on every Mondays, can replace other site at Jade Buddha Temple or French concession based on your interests),follow your guide to explore the ancient garden built with artistic designs, tranquil chambers , see the famed dragon wall and unique rockeries ,immerse yourself in the picturesque pavilions dotted with ponds in the lush greens while learning the rich culture and history from your expert guide.

5.00We had the most wonderful experience exploring the beautiful city of Shanghai — and it was all thanks to our incredible guide, Sammi. From the very beginning, Sammi went above and beyond to create the perfect itinerary for us. She shared the rich history behind everything we saw, bringing each site to life with her knowledge and enthusiasm. We were especially fascinated by the stunning Jade Buddha Temple. Exploring its exquisite chambers and learning about its history was truly unforgettable. The blend of old and new architecture throughout the city was equally impressive, and Sammi made sure we appreciated every detail. One of the highlights of our day was lunch at her favorite traditional Chinese restaurant. She thoughtfully selected dishes she considered “must-tries,” and it turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip! Her goal was clearly to make this a memorable experience from start to finish, and she succeeded in every way. She had endless patience taking photos for us at all the picturesque spots, and by the end of the tour, we felt completely fulfilled and so grateful for the day we had. I would also like to mention Sunny, the tour coordinator, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had been in touch with her for a year while planning this experience, and she was always responsive, flexible, and accommodating when we wanted to adjust our original itinerary. The day was perfectly balanced — comfortable transportation combined with plenty of time to walk and explore. We couldn’t have asked for more. This tour deserves a perfect five stars, and Sammi deserves ten for being the very best guide we could have hoped for!

5.00This was a last minute booking as we had been out for the day previously with Robert. We had another day in Shanghai so decided late in the afternoon to book him again as he was free. It was a great decision as we had another great day looking at some of the features of Shanghai city. The city is huge so getting around is tricky without the knowledge. As previously mentioned Robert is very thoughtful, interesting and you can feel he just wants to make the best of the tour for all. I would 100% recommend this tour. If you have access to WhatsApp the organiser is also really helpful, answered quickly every time and was more than happy to help very everything right. Well worth the money.

5.00Our tour guide Annie did an amazing job tailoring this tour to the preferences of my wife and I. We got to explore the Yu Garden bazaar and go to the top of Shanghai tower. It gave us just the experience we wanted during our short stay in Shanghai. Annie was very knowledgeable and accommodating especially given the circumstances of large crowds from the holiday. Would definitely encourage those visiting Shanghai to book this tour!

5.00We had the pleasure of spending 4 hours with Annie yesterday as a guide on our fist day in Shanghai. She is the best! Annie has vast knowledge of every place we visited. She’s been a guide for 20 years and she shows a lively genuine enthusiasm for every place we went. She is incredibly friendly, warm, and easy to be with - it felt like touring around with a friend who happens to know everything about Shanghai. Annie always made sure we were comfortable and saw the places we wanted to see. Her love of Shanghai makes her tour so great! I can't recommend Annie highly enough! She is a fantastic guide and a lovely person!

5.00Three of us went on this tour of Shanghai and had a great time! Michael was the tour guide who spoke fluent English and gave us the history of Chinese culture throughout the tour - it was fantastic! He asked what we wanted to see - we decided on the Jade Buddha Temple, the Yu Gardens and Old Shanghai and loved all of it. We had a super comfortable van to go from place to place, and ended up with a traditional Shanghai style lunch at the end which was delicious. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time in Shanghai with Micheal and highly recommend this tour!!
