This tour is perfect for people who love history, culture,architecture and museums. People always say:when visit Forbidden city, 70% is to learn the stories and 30% is to see the palace. During this 4 hours walking tour, you will stop at different locations to have the "Story time" and gain the insight view to the fascinating culture. You will visit major buildings and courtyards. Group size is limited to 10 people to ensure more personalized attention from your guide. Entrance fees is included. Meeting point is in front of Beijing Urban Planning Exhibition Center.

Tian'anmen Square might close without advance notice due to government activity, if this happens you will skip the Square

Tour departs punctually. Please arrive 10 minutes early. Once the tour left, you are unable to join the tour, and this tour is not refundable.

This tour is not recommended for travelers with physical/visual impairments or mobility restrictions due to varied terrain (underground passages, stairs) and the length of the tour. Please note that this tour covers 4 hours of walking.

Our guide Cathy was very helpful and knowledgeable, and looked after all of the group members attentively. Enjoyed this tour a lot. Highly recommend, learnt a lot about the history of the Forbidden City.

I had an absolutely amazing time with Vivian on my tour. I appreciate her for taking my reservation even though I was actually the only client that session. I learned so much about the Forbidden City and the knowledge I gained on the tour even came in handy at other sights like the Summer Palace. I highly recommend booking this tour even if you've already visited the Forbidden City before.

Very informative tour not just into the sites but into Chinese history. It made me want to finally learn so much more. Miko brought a lot of relevance to the sites and the tour with his information. It’s a long tour so I’d suggest preparing comfortable shoes and get ready to soak in all the information because it will be worth it.

The tour was great fun! Miko was very knowledgeable and engaging. He took us around a couple of the highlights of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, explaining the history and significance of each site. He was more than happy to answer questions and very accomodating. Would highly recommend!
