My perspective on this land and her people and the connections I’ve made as a member of the Come From Away family make for a one of a kind experience for my guests. Come From Away…for awhile:)
All tours are hosted and guided by me, Deneen, our friend, Newwfoundland music legend Larry Foley, or, schedule allowing, combinations thereof! All 3 of us are connected to Come From Away and excited to welcome you inside the story:)

5.0George was an amazing guide. I highly recommend his services. His knowledge of the places we went to gave us insight into early settlers. George provided us with extra tips to get around the city. Thank you for an amazing time.

5.0We traveled to Newfoundland to have a sense of her geography and her people. After our tour we had much more including warm hearts and treasured memories. Not to mention the best cod and chips we have ever tasted…and we’ve tasted a lot of fish!

5.0There are not enough words to describe our AMAZING experience with George. Although the weather did not cooperate, we had such a great time, the rain almost didn't matter (minus the wet socks, LOL).....George's knowledge of the area, his love for his job and his personality made it clear he has found his calling as a local tour guide. He assisted us in seeing the sights and we had the best fish and chips we have had in our entire lives for lunch. The day was filled with funny stories and historical references and I encourage anyone in the area to take this tour! Thanks for a truly one of a kind day, George!

5.0It is hard to describe in words what a fantastic time we had on this tour with George. But let’s try since I hope this review convinces anyone going to St John’s to put this spectacular experience on their must-do! Firstly, this was such an efficient tour, to catch all of the sights near St John’s in a half day. Every stop had the perfect timing and together with the lunch, it felt like such a fulfilling morning and afternoon. Secondly, there is never a dull moment! With facts and anecdotes about the area and about a Newfoundlander’s life, stories from George’s own life and career - every minute was entertaining, with lots of great chats and many laughs! The lunch stop was so delicious. Best fish and chips ever. No doubt about that! You can tell how much George loves this beautiful place, and how much pride he has in it. And that love shines through and makes you fall in love with this wonderful part of Canada. We can’t wait to go back, bring more family to try out this tour and more with George’s tour company! Book it! You will love it!
