We are a small company with extremely experienced guides living in the area. we have a wealth of knowledge incomparable with large generic guiding companies. We have top certification for guiding in Iceland and pursue mountaineering and climbing in our free time. For us this is not just a job, it´s a passion and lifestyle.

What To Expect

For those of you who enjoy more of a challenge then here is a great trip for you. We will take you beyond where most other groups ever go, into a wild and remote valley filled with Ice and surrounded by high cliffs and large ice falls. We will see many crevasses and other beautiful features on our way. If you like we can try some ice climbing and If conditions are good we may even be able to explore a large Ice cave. Groups on this tour will be very small 6 maximum.

Svanhvit was an amazing and very knowledgeable guide! We originally had a party of four, but two dropped out due to catching a cold and lack of sleep. However, we were able to continue on with the hike and it was a very intimate experience with just three people. Especially when considering that these hikes can be as large as 30-50 people. She helped me celebrate my birthday on top of the glacier and was very patient with us as we stopped for pictures at multiple points along the hike. We highly recommend booking with her and wish her luck on her studies in mountaineering!
