  This Tokyo tour was an absolute highlight! Our guide, Jero, was incredibly fun, passionate, kind, and bright, bringing contagious energy to every stop. He went far above and beyond, covering all the major sights while sharing hidden gems and local secrets that made the day truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for a perfect trip.   Vanessa gave us a lot of insights into this fascinating city, we really enjoyed the tour. For us, the perfect start to our Japanese holidays. Vanessa is an accomplished and competent tour guide who presents this city with passion.

  Jero did a superlative job of guiding us through Tokyo and "teaching" us customs and history of the areas. He researched the public transportation routings, even did a dry run to assure us the most efficient travel. He even taught me the Gemini app for fixing photos. I had a list of about 15 locations & experiences for him to plan. Gardens, temples, shrines, NO amusements (i.e. Team). We hit them ALL plus several, including lunch in tiny restaurants - our requests. Taught us subway navigation and etiquette...all the "important" stuff. He is extraordinarily personable. Navigated subway at rush hour. What fun. Absolutely NO glitches. We only had 1 1/2 days and we compressed about a week's worth of locations into that. We moved faster than he expected we could. But stopped and admired (photographed many) the cherry blossoms, landscapes, & horticulture. All major gardens, several minor garden gems, shrines, temples, 5th Avenue, Chinese market, theatre district, toe-sock shopping. Stayed in Shinjuku City, traveled as far as Shibuyu & Asakusa. Offered many prayers and shook sticks for fortunes. Worked on our chopstick techniques - or lack thereof. Made us comfortable in the midst of thousands of Tokyo residents. The city if really, really quiet and polite. Now I need to go back and see some museums and sit and eat more leisurely. I'd do it again and have totally endorsed him to friends who are going to Tokyo. These days were after already 21 days in the East China Sea area.

  That was a Tokyo tour that couldn't have been better and more perfect. Jero has brought me closer to the city, the country and the people in a way that is second to none. He has deep knowledge of the land and people and knows the little secret places that are not so easy to find. Besides, he is a very personal guide who pays attention to every wish and always tries to fulfill it. My stay in Tokyo could not have been better and next time I come I will book it in time and not just for a tour. Thank you, dear Jero🙏!

  If I gave a school grade, I would give a "1 plus with asterisk" because the day with Jero was just perfect. Not only does he have an incredible knowledge of Japan, its history and its people, he also goes into detail about individual wishes in such a way that you feel he is there only for you. Jero "guided" me through Tokyo and showed me places I would never have found myself and which I am convinced that even very few "guides" know and show. This was an absolutely individual tour that gave me an insight into Tokyo that I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. In addition, Jero also gave me a lot of personal insights into Japanese life - so I can now classify Japan and Tokyo much better. Or to put it another way: If there was a 6 star rating, Jero deserved it!

  Our tour with Vanessa was truly outstanding and made our stay in Tokyo incredibly special. From the very beginning, we could tell how passionate, professional, and attentive she is. Vanessa didn’t just show us Tokyo, she made us experience it. She perfectly adapted the tour to our wishes, especially our interest in culture, history, and temples. Everything was thoughtfully planned, well-paced, and never overwhelming. What really sets Vanessa apart is her warm and calm personality combined with her impressive knowledge. She answered all of our questions with depth and gave us insights you simply wouldn’t get as a regular tourist. At the same time, she has a great sense for people and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire tour.
