Meiji Jingu Shrine
Meiji Jingu Shrine is one of Tokyo's most iconic and significant Shinto shrines, located in Harajuku. We'll walk together to the main building of Meiji Jingu Shrine while learning about the culture and history. We'll also learn about some Japanese traditional rituals.
Takeshita Street
Following the Meiji Jingu Shrine we will head to Harajuku, taking the famous & colorful Takeshita Street. Takeshita Street is a bustling and iconic shopping street located in the Harajuku district of Tokyo and tons of shopping & food opportunities. (Find rainbow cotton candy or poo ice cream)

5.00This was our first time in Tokyo and had a wonderful time for the Tokyo city walk tour, thanks to Daniel our amazing guide! We walked over 12 km and commuted using the Tokyo metro and saw everything we could. Daniel was on time and his passion for the city, deep knowledge, and engaging storytelling made every stop come alive. Thank you for making the experience both educational and enjoyable — it was the perfect way to discover the city. We’ll definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

5.00Tour with Jero was incredible. I booked to take the tour as soon as I had arrived and it was the best decision! Its a private tour which was a lot nicer than having to take a tour with a large group because Jero really takes the time to personalize and cater the tour to your interests. We saw A TON of stuff. We walked Shinjuku and Shibuya as well as Harajuku. He shows you places where to eat, where to drink, shop, etc. He also took me to see some great skyline views of the city. I would have never discovered a ton of areas without his expertise. He also takes incredible photos! He'll document the trip for you so you can just focus on having the best time getting to know Tokyo. Don't hesitate to book this tour. After the tour you depart as friends. He has other tours too and I will definitely be booking them on future trips!

5.00We had a total of three fantastic incredible days with Jero. From the first exchange about our tour wishes still from Germany, I was enthusiastic about Jero’s warm nature and his deep rousing passion for his city and Japanese culture. This full-day tour with Jero, which was completely tailored to us, was the second tour with him and in our total 14 day holiday the absolute highlight for my son and me. The day was the perfect day in this incredibly multifaceted city thanks to Jero. That's all I can do. Our current stations were Shinjuku, Akihabara (Anime and Electric Town), Asakusa (Sensoji Shrine) and Ueno. For lunch and dinner we followed Jero's restaurant recommendations, which he reserved in advance because of great popularity and were downright overwhelmed. Taste and atmosphere, because Jero took us far from tourist trails to the places he likes to visit himself. Jero has an inexhaustible knowledge of the culture, history and (everyday) life in Tokyo and it is a pleasure to listen to his exciting and humorous stories. His enthusiasm for Tokyo and Japanese culture is rousing and his caring and attention to do everything possible to give his guests the best possible time is truly extraordinary. Anyone who is traveling with Jero feels like they are traveling with a friend who is enjoying the time himself. Browsing together for anime characters, collectible cards and gaming accessories, talking about the latest anime and drumming, dancing and driving MarioKart in arcade halls will remain unforgettable, especially for my son (13). Thanks, Jero. Whether you’re short on time or just want to get to know Tokyo in a real and intense way, Jero is the best guide you can find. Individual and full of ideas, he conjures up the perfect day or days for you.
