Gorgeous King's Canyon - nature's "secret gem"

5.00We had a fantastic private tour with Farrah from Keifers Giant Sequoia Tours. She was a park ranger in a previous career which was obvious from her knowledge of the area, the flora and fauna, and the different sites that we visited. She was extremely enthusiastic about what she was doing, you could tell she loved doing this and also loved the area, she took us to see a few things that you normally would never check out on your own. We had a wonderful lunch (bring your own) on the banks of the South Fork King's River. Kings Canyon has to be one of the most underrated, best kept secrets for anyone traveling out to this area - I know everyone goes to Yosemite, which is by far a more popular place to visit, but you'd be missing an opportunity if you decided not to also check out Kings Canyon and all it has to offer. Highly recommended.

5.00We took the Giant Sequoia tour with Farrah and it was awesome! Farrah and her husband are former park rangers and that is obvious on the tour. Farrah was very knowledgeable and made sure we saw everything we wanted to. I highly recommend this private tour for people who want to just relax and leave it to the experts! Thank You Farrah!! 5.00It seems pricey but was well worth it--super knowledgeable guide who was willing to customize the tour and also really helped us identify other sites easy to see on our own later. Friendly and delightful service--and when the weather turned bad for a bit extended her time with us to be sure we got to see everything!! We are seasoned travellers--and picky with 5 stars--this one deserved all 5.

5.00Farrah was an absolutely wonderful guide. Her knowledge of the area and her background in working with National Parks was vast to say the least!! The six hours of the tour seemed to go by fast - we did a lot but never felt rushed or in a hurry! The weather was beautiful - very mild and cooler - perfect weather for hiking and walking around the different sites. We had 3 in our group for the tour. The smaller private group makes for a more personable experience - customizable! I would use Keifer’s Tours again and I definitely highly recommend their service! Well worth the price of admission!! Do not second guess the choice of choosing Keifer’s Tours!

5.00If you are looking for an unforgettable experience in the Sequoias, you absolutely have to book with Farrah from Keifer’s Giant Sequoia Tours! This tour wasn't just a fun day out; it was hands down the absolute highlight of our entire family trip! From the moment we met her, Farrah was radiating warmth and kindness. She has this amazing energy that instantly puts everyone at ease. The drive through the park was incredibly relaxed and so comfortable—which is a huge relief when you're traveling with two young kids! Farrah is an absolute treasure trove of knowledge, sharing fascinating stories and facts about the trees that kept us completely captivated. On top of being a brilliant guide, she is a fantastic host. She provided the most delicious lunch and had a magical stash of great snacks that kept our toddlers happy, fueled, and smiling all day long. We cannot thank Farrah enough for such a beautiful, stress-free, and exciting adventure. We 100% recommend her and Keifer’s—you will be in the absolute best hands!

5.00Farrah was so sweet & knowledgeable! We were so lucky to be able to experience the park with her! She knew exactly where to take us to get us off the beaten path, but still hit all the highlights & “must sees”. With her experience as a park ranger, she had so many interesting historical facts about the park & could tell us all about the different trees, plants, and geological features. We had a fantastic time & this tour was the highlight of our Sierra Nevada vacation! Thank you for the awesome day!

5.00Farrah, was amazing from the time she met us in a new Chevy Tahoe (super comfy), during our tour with two easy walks/hikes, until the time she dropped us off at our car! Farrah was knowledgeable and made the trip easy to enjoy. We had not thought about the snow, but she came prepared with shoe clamps for walking in the snow for us to avoid slipping. If you want an enjoyable and no stress tour, Farrah is your guide! We highly recommend the tour company!

5.00We had a beautiful half day tour of Sequoia highlights with Farrah. She was very knowledgeable, having previous experience as a ranger in the park. her manner was warm and friendly, and she did a great job of catering to our interests and needs. The majesty of the Sequoia trees was breathtaking and the walk up Moro Rock was enjoyable and the view was lovely. Bonus points we had perfect weather and saw a small family of deer. We highly recommend this tour.
