• Sold a guide, got a driver.

  I have to start by putting my review in context. This was our 5th private tour on our current travels. All others we’ve had no doubt in awarding 5 stars to. The price of £173 was for a 6-8 hour private tour with guide. It was however a tour with driver. Our driver (Asham we think - not sure of spelling), was courteous , very softly spoken (hard to hear), with adequate understanding of English to communicate in very brief sentences. The tour was sold with guide and we were simply driven to various sites with virtually no commentary/ info etc. I do not fault our driver just the marketing of what was delivered. In addition the communication on this tour was very poor. All previous tours we’ve been contacted the day before with details of driver name, plate etc. I checked in with company 3 times on the day before - no reply until the day of tour & just before it started. In addition I asked for clarification on one aspect of the tour in Feb - no reply received. Be warned the cost of the boat trip around the Geopark added £110 as was not included (which was known in advance but was where I’d asked for clarification on cost with no reply). That said the skybridge etc was amazing & boat trip well worth the cost. If I was doing this again I’d just book grab taxis between each place at a huge discount to the driver we ended up with. Final point, it was marketed as 6-8 hours and to Ashad’s credit we ended up with him for 9 hrs to fit in all (except chocolate retail), from the list given. I think in busy season it would be extremely hard to fit everything in 6-8 hrs. 1 star for no guide, but up to 3 stars for the places visited & attitude of our driver.

  Took the SkyCab & Sky Bridge Discovery private tour on Thursday with Asward, and it was a genuinely great experience. He was punctual, friendly, and proactive — offering small adjustments to the itinerary that made the day flow much better. The SkyCab ride and Sky Bridge views were stunning, but what really set the tour apart was Asward himself. He's deeply knowledgeable about Langkawi's history, geography, and culture, and we had easy, non-stop conversation throughout the day. If you're booking this tour, request Asward if you can. Highly recommended.

  We did this trip from a cruise and it was our most enjoyable day of the 17 day holiday. Asyraf was our driver for the day and he accommodated our every need. We were collected promptly from the cruise terminal and taken to the Cable Car and Sky Bridge for the first part of our day. Asyraf sorted our pre-paid tickets and it well worth getting the fast track passes, there's so much to cram into the day. After we had finished Asyraf was waiting for us and drove us to our next destination, which was the mangroves at Kilim Geoforest Park, this was an optional extra but worth every penny. If you want to feed eagles, tropical fish and let monkeys drink from a water bottle on your boat this trip is for you, it. also included a visit to the bat cave and a high speed trip on the Andaman Sea in our boat. We then had a short stop at the craft village before going to Eagle Square, also known as Dataran Lang, a must-visit tourist attraction in Langkawi. Home to the iconic Eagle Statue, this picturesque square offers stunning views of the Andaman Sea and a glimpse into the rich culture of the island. Finally Asyraf found the time to take us to the duty free chocolate shop and then a quick photo stop at an amazing viewpoint, before getting us back to the ship in plenty of time. Thank you Asyraf for a perfect day! 🥰

• SkyCab and Mangroves

  Driver was courteous and pleasant. SkyCab and Bridge were pretty amazing. Views from above were impressive. We skipped a couple other things and did the Mangrove boat tour, which was very enjoyable. All in all a good day of touring

  Our guide San was excellent and gave us lots of information on Langkawi and its history. The trip was fully flexible and allowed us to see the key places in Langkawi. Would thoroughly recommend the mangrove tour, beautiful scenery.

  We had a wonderful time in Langkawi. The views from the Sky Bridge were absolutely stunning. Our driver-guide, Asyraf, was very professional throughout the trip. We also enjoyed the mangrove cruise on the Kilim River, where we saw eagles being fed, explored bat-filled caves, and visited a floating fish farm. The Seven Wells Waterfall was another beautiful highlight. Overall, it was an amazing experience!

  Our trip was fantastic. Our driver/ guide is Asward and he is very professional and knowledgeable and gave us lots of recommendations. We had a great time having him as our guide. He speaks fluent English.

  I had an amazing experience seeing the key sites Langkawi had to offer. Even though it rained in the morning it added to the experience. The sky bridge was wonderful. Amazing views of course. The mangroves were breathtaking! The Oriental village and the waterfall had me snapping pics like there was no tmrw. Most of all I had an amazing guide/driver in Rayyan! He is super kind and very knowledgeable. He totally looked out for me and was the tru superstar of my journey. When I go back I will definitely be booking with him again!
