  We really enjoyed the Hungry Whales food tour! The guides were helpful and knowledgeable and fun. We learned lots about the island while enjoying visits to shops, restaurants, the farmers market and indulging on specialties of the Azores.

  An absolutely fantastic tour! Culture, history and a lot of delicious food on a beautiful day, what's better than that? Our guide Ishaja was awesome, I would highly recommend her. Really just a great experience overall that I would highly recommend

  Marco was an Ana ing guide! The tour was so informative -and fun too! The food was delicious - as was the wine! And what was so nice was that tour wasn’t just about the food but we got done history and an overview of the Azores as well! Highly recommend!

  This was a great experience and we'd recommend it as an introduction to Azorean food. I suggest you book it earlier in your visit. We even showed up late and they let us join them on their second stop without issue!

  Our guide was very good and provided a lot of information on the fruits and vegetables grown in the Azores, the cheese production, honey production, meat production, etc. He also talked quite a bit about the history, weather and culture of the islands.

  We had a great experience - tried new foods, learned about their origins. I'm rating this as a 3/5 because it truly is just tastings. For the cost, we were hoping to be a little more full by the end. I'm also a vegetarian and was told there were vegetarian options as well, but there were no replacements, I just didn't get to try three things.

  We had an amazing experience with Hungry Whales Azores Food Tour. Marco and Lana were an absolute delight. They were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the area, providing an in-depth tour filled with local history, culture, and fabulous food. We sampled a wonderful variety of foods, and they were very accommodating with food allergies, which we truly appreciated. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the meeting location was easy to find. The experience was so enjoyable that we would absolutely book another tour if we were staying longer.
