5.00A wonderful afternoon tour with Caroline as our guide. Caroline was knowledgeable with a very warm & exciting personality. The bits of history & the small bites of tasty treats were perfect. We had a private group of ten and all were very pleased. We want to do the cocktail tour soon!

5.00This is a great tour. Lots of delicious food, lots of local history, and lots of laughs. Elena was a wonderful tour guide. It was a rainy day but that didn’t matter, we had so much fun we barely noticed the rain.

5.00Lilly is an excellent tour guide. She provided a flood of information about the area and city’s growth and development. She also provided information on special interest to our group. (Horse Racing). Highly recommended

5.00This tour was excellent! Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. We covered a variety of Interesting topics. We met at the very nice visitor center where we parked in a ramp for a reasonable cost. The walk was very flat and of a reasonable distance. We went to several terrific restaurants -the food was plentiful and delicious. Well worth it!

4.00Hi, We loved the experience of walking around the area, hearing about the history, The guide was great. I went with two others and although we liked the food, we thought it would be more Kentucky style like burgoo, something made with bourbon, grits, and derby pie. Instead, we had a salad, a burger, nachos, pizza, Irish bread pudding. So yes, we experienced the food of Lexington just not kentucky style.

5.00My daughter and I had such a fantastic experience on the Bites of Blue Grass food tour! Caroline, our tour guide, truly made the day special—she was incredibly welcoming, engaging, and full of interesting and informative insights that added so much depth to each stop along the way. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of restaurants and menu items that gave us a real taste of the local scene. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen and unique. The pacing was perfect—we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to relax and enjoy each location, yet everything flowed smoothly and kept a steady rhythm throughout the tour. We’re already looking forward to booking another tour in the future. Highly recommend!

5.00This was our second time doing a tour with Bites of the Bluegrass, and it somehow managed to be even better than the first! You definitely get your money’s worth—come hungry because you’ll be eating a lot of amazing food at every stop. What really sets this experience apart, though, is how much you learn along the way. Grace did an incredible job sharing the history of Lexington and the Bluegrass region in a way that’s engaging and fun, not just informational. It feels like the perfect mix of food tour and walking history tour. If you’re on the fence, don’t be—whether it’s your first time or your second like ours, it’s absolutely worth it (even if you’re local like us). I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

5.00Fantastic tour, the other reviewers did not lie! We had Elena who was so wonderful. Personable, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. In addition to great food and history we also got quirky stories that made it so much more interesting. The walking was easy, nothing too strenuous. We stopped at five very different places which made it that much more fun. If you are coming to Lexington this is a must do activity!
