The Orcas Project is more than just a tasting, there's a real story behind every wine in your flight. We work with talented winemakers and vineyards across the Pacific Northwest, and each bottle features original artwork from local Orcas Island artists. So when we walk you through your flight, we're not just talking tasting notes we're talking about the vineyard it came from, the people who made it, and the artist who designed the label. It's a pretty cool combination, and there's nothing else quite like it in the region.

What To Expect
We produce a series of wines under ‘The Orcas Project’ umbrella. The Orcas Project is a collaboration between acclaimed Winemakers and Vineyards in the Pacific Northwest, featuring labels designed by Orcas Island Artists. These wines are small-batch, limited-production, and you won't find them just anywhere but you will find them at our cozy tasting room right here in Eastsound. Join us for a curated flight of four wines as we take you behind the scenes, the vineyards, the stories, the passion, and the people that make The Orcas Project unlike anything else in your glass.

5.00Enjoyed the Orcas projects take on PNW wines. Four tastes of a nice range of wines with their own nuance. Small and relaxed environment in a pleasant garden like setting. Parking might be a challenge but fun to stroll the village to get to the shop. The extra fee for the cheese board is well worth it, thank you.

5.00Great fun doing the wine tasting. The Orcas Project is such a cool idea! You get access to a collection of wines by great local wine makers. The shop is really fun with some excellent curated international wines. We were looking for a Pino Noir (Burgandy) to cook a boeuf bourguignon and found a great French wine.

5.00Don’t skip the cheeseboard. We did a five wine flight each and we had a lot of fun chatting with the gal running the shop on Sunday. The jam is really good, too. You can pick up several varieties from the island market a block away.

5.00We had a larger group and Cole was able to accommodate us for an after-hour tasting. It was the highlight of our weekend!! The wines were DELICIOUS, the charcuterie was also a surprise hit, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We also loved the casual patio vibe. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Orcas Island
